Okay! So we now know that the Ravenclaw commonroom supposedly asks a riddle, not a password, which is definitely interesting and appropriate. Well, in honor of that, I propose we make a thread for us to have some nice intellectual fun with riddles.
Anyone is welcome to post a riddle, and with your riddle post a number. (the first is 1, the second 2, hopefully you get the idea) And you can answer anyones riddles, just post the number and your guess, and they'll tell you if you're right. have fun!!!

1. (this ones easy) I am the beginning of the end, and the end of the middle. I am found in everything, but not in all. What am I?
2. As I was walking to Siam, I met a man with seven wives. Each wife had seven bags. In each bag were seven cats. Each cat had seven kittens. Each kitten held seven mice. How many were going to Siam?

0icy_fallen_angel0 1. (this ones easy) I am the beginning of the end, and the end of the middle. I am found in everything, but not in all. What am I?2. As I was walking to Siam, I met a man with seven wives. Each wife had seven bags. In each bag were seven cats. Each cat had seven kittens. Each kitten held seven mice. How many were going to Siam? 1. The letter "E" 2. Only you. The man and women and everything else was just on the way, not headed towards Siam. ...am I right?

1. Nothing on the inside, Nothing on the outside. Light as a feather, but ten men cannot lift it. What is it?
2. I have one, you have one.
If you remove the first letter, a bit remains.
If you remove the second, bit still remains.
After much trying, you might be able to remove the third one also, but it remains.

2. I have one, you have one.
If you remove the first letter, a bit remains.
If you remove the second, bit still remains.
After much trying, you might be able to remove the third one also, but it remains. this is what I came up with for these riddles: 1. air...can't think of anything else rolleyes 2. a habit everyone has one, remove the h: a bit. remove the a: bit. remove the b: it.
