I figured it would be a good idea to make a topic where people could post any interesting facts or unusual facts about rammstein; so here it is.

Rammstein was named after a town in West Germany that was the site of an airshow disaster in 1988. (( quite awsome I thought so that the band has 2 meanings of their name really)).

ok... erm... let's see... You translate Till's last name and you get 'Lime Tree Man'. You translate Schneider and you get 'Cutter'. Milly found those out.
Till got fired from his peat-cutting job after only three days... I wonder how he managed that one... 0.o Paul used to be a boiler man, Schneider used to install telephones, Richard worked at a bottle return place, Flake was a tool-marker and Olli was a plaster. ^^
Flake owns half a car company that rents cars to hollywood and movie making places. whee

It's pronounced "ram-shtahyn" in German. I used to live there, so I'm almost certain that I'm correct. I know that's how you pronounce it in Russian...

Khira Li Lindemann is not Till's daughter, she is Richards daughter. Richard had a brief affair with Till's Ex-wife that resulted in Khira and since she had not changed her last name Khira Li also became a Lindemann. (( I guess these dudes share everything!!!))

Yes, yes they do. My friend and I have discussed the issue thoroughly and have decided that we would not mind being shared by them... We're crazy like that^^'. Rammstein took a very long time to form and it is all Flake's fault. He thought it was a boring idea and didn't want to join, but Till kept bugging him about it and after a few years he caved.

The name of the flower on the original Herzeleid cover is Gerberra daisy. The cover was later changed because of complaints that the original cover art looked like it was portraying the master race. This means they it was seen as a support for white supremacy/ the arrayan race.

Till once burned down a forest in his back yard... he received quite a beating for that one. whee Our little pyro-boy is all grown up now. xd
