Love, Fire, and Hell
Love is like wildfire
burning blazing burning
It effects everything close to it
some more than others
It can last any amount of time
as long as theres "fuel"
It hurts if you get too close
unless "it" is you
everything behind it is destroyed
and now all you look is forward
forward, to the future
nothing behind you matters anymore
unless your the one left behind
trapt in the darkness...burnt into scorch marks
but no matter how many times fire is born, and fury rages......
there is always re-birth
Things always go back to how they were....
until another fire roars through......
and hell......is let loose......yet again.......

Shadows
Darkness spreads
and Shadows emerge
Hiding all
showing none
Blind sight
and hollow sounds
Light purges
and shadows hide
Dark corners, and alleyways
now they hide
til day sets
and night emerges........
........yet again

Those are wicked. ^^ Here's mine. I wrote this forever ago...
Eyes close, heart begins to race
It feels so good in his embrace
I relax in his strong grip
His lips on my neck, I let a moan slip
I feel his fangs upon my skin
A gasp escapes as they sink in
It hurts but I crave his dark touch
This time it's diffrent... he's taking too much
My stregth fades, I offer my life
I see pain in his eyes, filled with strife
He didn't want this to happen to me
He had planned to set me free
This fangs slid out, just before death
Looked on in silence as I took my last breath
A single dark thought crossed his mind
I could become his kind....
A child, student and lover in one
Someone to share his world without the sun
The exchange was made, this life for new
All the pains of the chage suffred through
With fangs, claws and immortal sight
I lay by my master, now his goddess of the night.

Slow Tears
I look up
as a tear rolls slowly
down my cheek
I think about better days
and wonder if I'll feel that way again
you look at me
with those eyes I know so well
always serious, so deep and insightful
as though you're always in control
But not today
not now
Now you look so scared
like for once you don't have the answer
I gaze at you
looking deep into those hazel eyes
Hoping to understand
why you've said those things you did
I wonder for a moment
if this is all a dream
if I shall wake in the morning
and be relieved
you look at me
with a confusion I have never seen
slowly pull me towards you
and wipe the tears from my cheek
Hopelessly bound
unfettered
by the chains of love's grip
- greatest gift,
fate's cruelest curse.
