Elfen lied, a GREAT (my personal fave, i read the whole manga in 4 days - thats 76 issues with over 20 pages each) manga/anime, it is a mixture of a action and romance/drama. Anyways, lots of gore, lots of censored hentai jokes ect. ist a really good manga, tho not for everyone. Its really a hard story at some points ( crying ) but it still rocks.
... tho most probably hate it ...

Really? I loved it. I don't think people could hate it o.o Well unless they don't like story lines like that then I could understand.

Neh im just thinking "hey most people i know hate the fact that there is so much hentai in that show (personally, i just found it funny, not ... ), but hey i could always be wrong.

i like the anime i want to read the manga
but i havent found it yet crying
i loved the anime tho
the gore and there were tiny hints of love in it
it didnt hurt that badly
i...want...to...kill..

-Lol well i started downloading the anime a few days ago, its going slow since im not a premium member on megaupload -_- ... so i have to wait hours before i can download anther episode.
In any case, my fave character is Nana, dunno why, (ok so i do... we ALL do) but you grow to like her out of pity for her. Its sad how she ends up in the worst possible situation.

i loved the anime!!! im still wondering if lucy/nyuu is still alive in the last ep!!! the dub version i didnt like too much!!! if there are 76 mangas than that means they cut out a lot (only 14 eps)!!!!

-actually, they cut up about 60 episodes and squeezed them into 13 ... (the 14 is actually a DVD special) i dont like the anime ending, the last 2 episodes are completely different in the manga. Its really annoying, i skipped trough episode 7 cuz i knew the flashback episode by manga, and its boring.

Somehow, the story in the manga is much more developed. IDK its all a matter of opinion and taste.

i read the manga, after the anime finished, but then i just couldnt be bothered, knowing the rest wouldnt be made into an anime

lol, they're both great in a way, but in a way the manga and the anime "elfen lied" are two diffrent stories. The anime is also much more comerciallised and its done by a pack of vicious japanese pro producers ...
in a way its comparing a thing that one man works alone in a dark room and something that 250 people draw, 10 people are in charge of the storyline and another 10 to make it attractive. You cant really compare it that easy.
