Pokerus also known as Pokeaids its a great illness to contract. At first the lovely Nurse Joy will say that your Pokemon will grow better, this fact is true as your EV doubles per battle, but its only contagus for a short time and it spreads during battle. When you see the neutral face that means your pokemon can not get Pokeaids any more but the effect still lingers.
Now you may be asking your self what is EVs?
EVs are Effort points that helps a pokemon in one stat. Just remember that 4 EVs equal 1 stat point at lv 100. You can EV train at any time but the best time is right after birth or capture. Here are some helpful EV training spots.
Attack: Fish for Gyarados and Seakings on Route 209 Defence: Oreburg Mine: Fight Geodudes Sp Attack: Old Chatue: Fight every pokemon you fight in there Sp Def: Surf north of Sunyshore and fight Tentacrule and Mankytes Speed: Golbats in Victory Road water ways. HP: Shellos or Gastordons also slay Bidoofs.
As for more help on EV Training the best way to hit the magical 252 Points do these easy steps 1. Contract Pokerus 2. Attach the corrisponding "Power" item. (They give you +4 EV points for one stat) 3. Fight 21 pokemon that gives you 2 EV points for the corrisponding Stat. 4. ???? 5. Profit.

Pokerus is why my Torterra can attack before most pokemon of the same level or above. I EV trained it for speed. XD

Passion-sama might i ask where you get the macho band? Do you mean Macho Brace? Either use Pal Park to get it or get three different Burmys and show them to that person in Pastoria City. That, or trade with someone who has one that they'll give up.

Tashi-No-Baka Must trade pokemon. Thats how I got pokerus. The way people get it is by fighting a wild Pokémon which has pokerus. There's a very small chance of that, though... Not sure whether shinies are more common or not.

Whenever you battle, pokemon in your party have a chance of spreading the pokerus to those who do not

Androoface ok, i just got a pkmn with pkrs, how does it spread to my other pokemon? Picture for relavancy's sake. Just battle with an infected pokemon in your team and eventually it will spread to the other pokemon in your party. Just make sure to carry some spot-filler pokemon with you and deposit them before midnight.

here is a dumb question if you have pokerus and use a macho brace how many EVs would you get?
Using kricketune for example:
2 attack ev w/ Macho Brace and Pokerus= 8 Ev or 6 Ev
