I myself find college football much more exciting than professional. The reason being that the school is a much more concrete connection to the team and has a bigger chance for fan attachment, whereas at the professional level it's only moderately representative of the metropolitan area they are headquartered at.

That is my opinion anyway, feel free to disagree.

I love college football because the passion is so intense and these guys are all playing their hearts out for the love of the game but I have to vote pros because they have a playoff system. The BCS kills college championships for me.

Although high school has a playoff system you will rarely see the two best teams play each other due to state limitations. The exception was last year when John Curtis (Louisiana school) played Hoover (Alabama). The lack of real competition turns me off of prep football.

I agree, the BCS is a broken system and needs serious revitalization. A playoff bracket is exactly what the doctor ordered, although with about 117 Division I-A teams, how to decide who gets in and who doesn't?

That's a tough one. The only way I could see it happening would be each conference champion gets a spot but that has some problems too.

I just talked with one of my friends who is a statistics major. He said that the ratio of the number of teams in postseason playoffs to the number of teams in the league varies from 1/4 to 1/3. It made me think, with about 117, we could go with around a quarter of the teams to make the playoffs. So, using my calculator, that would mean 29.25 teams to make post-season. We can ease that up a little bit to 32 to make it even. At that point, each conference champion gets a bid, and that leaves room for a few at large bids too. Now the only problem is the five week process that would take. The college football season would go into Feburary

I prefer NFL because it's much easier to get into and the fact that you can be familiar with most of the players for more than 3 or 4 years is a plus too.

I myself like both, but I prefer NFL. I have no clue why, I just do. So yeah, if theres a Bears game on I'm taking it over a colledge bowl game any day.

Yeah. Cause the big ten has OSU, Michagen, and Wisconsin, all top 10 teams. I don't know which I like better. Both College and Pro are good.

If it's an important Bears game maybe. If it's an important bears game and a Wisconsin bowl game, I'll watch both.

I think that College football has the emotion and that's what makes it awesome. When there's a rivalry you feel the hate. In the NFL you don't feel the hate as much but, they come to play and put more on the field then in their words.
