If you vote in the poll please tell us your choice and explain why you think so.
Otherwise discuss any of drafted rookies and how they are doing in your team.

I'm going to have to go with Ginn Jr. There were several better receivers imo that could have been drafted. He won't be bad but I don't think he will live up to the spot he was drafted at.
From what I've heard he isn't a very consistent catcher but he does have speed.

offline predator all i know, is it BETTER NOT be calvin johnson. the lions can't afford another wasted top draft pick. harrington, rogers, m. williams. gonk I'm not sure it would be possible for him to be a bust. I was almost tempted to not put him on the poll mrgreen He just has everything you could wish for in a receiver; height, size (Not the same thing), strength, speed, good catching ablility, and good route running skills. I'm pretty confident that not even a crappy QB could stop him from producing seeing as how he had Reggie Ball as a QB rofl The only thing I could see stopping Calvin from becoming a HOF would be a serious injury but stranger things have happened. EDIT: I see someone voted on Okoye as a bust. Would you like to elaborate? I personally think he will be a good player for many years to come. If anything were to stop him from being a good player it would have to be that he might not be mature enough to play at this level or be mentally prepared due to his age. Then again his age might be the best thing about him.

At first, I would have put JaMarcus Russell, not that he doesn't have what it takes to make it, but he is definitly NOT in an ideal situation. The Raiders lack an offensive line, and now a playmaking reciever. They could use a better run game IMO. Now they've signed a vet, Culpepper.
Not that Culpepper will make the situation better, but he can take the heat this season for Russell. The Raiders need to fix that line soon, so Russell will be the elite qb he has the potential to be.
I agree though, I think Ted Ginn will, out of all of them not live up to the hype. I think he'll be a great return man, and only a decent reciever.

My problem with Ginn is that indictions are that he's going to be a slot reciever. Granted, that's an important position, but is it worth a top pick like that? I don't think so. Now, he's a skilled guy, and speed means a lot, but he needs to be used in order to grow, and he'll never be worth a top pick if he doesn't grow.

GINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He should've barely been drafted in the first round. He should've been picked 30th. He's like a slow, bad Steve Smith.

Except he's not slow and we don't know if he's bad yet. He's not nearly as fast as Steve smith. Steve smith is about 2 times as good. Ginn is only good for speed. Just like steve smith. Steve Smith is fast enough to get away with it. Ginn isn't. And look at the cornerbacks he's gonna be facing.

Steve Smith is fast enough to get away with it. Ginn isn't. And look at the cornerbacks he's gonna be facing. First of all he's probably faster than Steve Smith. In college Ginn ran a 4.31 but he was hurt during his pro 40 and he still ran a 4.4 which is impressive as hell. Smith only ran a 4.45 so even hurt Ginn is faster than Smith. To claim that Ginn is a bad version of Smith reeks of ignorance, as if the slow part wasn't bad enough. You haven't seen Ginn play in the NFL, for all you know he could be the best WR in the league his rookie year. He most likely won't be but you can't know that for sure yet. Perfect example right here, Marques Colston was the best rookie WR last year. How many people expected that? None, because he was 4 picks from being undrafted. Guess what the 2nd picked WR did? 13 receptions for 153 yards and 3 TDs. Now you may be asking yourself "What's the point you're trying to make?" Well come gather round the fire place little'uns and I'll tell ya. NEWSFLASH!!!!!!! The world does not revolve around you. In fact you revolve around the world, which revolves around the sun, which revolves around a super black hole, which revolves around...... well I'm not going to get into all that but you get the picture. Just because you think something it does not mean that *Poof* it becomes true. When you have an opinion (Which is not a fact) and you want people to agree with you then you better be able to back it up. One more thing, when you do indeed have an opinion do not ever try to pass it off as fact because it is indeed an opinion and not fact.

Steve Smith was 20 when he entered the NFL. In those two years, Steve smith raised his 40 time.
