Do you think selphie actually started to like irvine insted of just seeing him as a companion. Throughout the game we see him trying to get with her all the time and never suceeding then in the end of the game we see her wearing his hat so it does make you wonder if those two actually did get together in the end.

*grins* I am of the belief that they may have got together... They do make a cute couple, but of course we'll probably never know cause Square likes making everyone guess.

Yes, I think so. ^^ I think they're cute together, too, and they'd be so much fun to see together. Selphie looks pretty good with the hat, too. I rather like that it's subtle, but it's definitely there.
Too bad, though, that in Kingdom Hearts she's stuck on an island with Tidus and Wakka. Then again, neither of their pairings would work out very well either...

Of course they got together! They're perfect as a couple. Plus, on the train Selphie was musing over the idea of a possible relationship, (Even though Squall blew her off), and There was so much flirting and chemistry between them it could suffocate Squinoa.

Yeah, Selphie's definately naive enough to fall for him. But, in all honesty, I think you've sparked a hidden IrPhie fan in me. Who knew? confused

In the end credits it kind of seemed that way to me.... Though I still think Selphie is useless.

Selphie is a sensitive girl and I think that she innocent. She and Irvine look lika a good couple.

I love Selphie--- she's one of my favorites. But I think she and Irvine would make better friends, who flirt occasionally, you know?

Zelphie? Heehee. I think evidence-wise, there's more going for Irphie, *is making these up as she goes along* and I do like it better.

Wow, You know I never really thought about this pairing that much until I saw this. And I wish we really could know for sure, but then again it was probably one of those endings that you decide what happens.

I think that they did end up together. But no one will ever know because of Square not wanting to tell us. Like at the end of FF 7....Do Cloud and Tiffa get together?

I like that it's open-ended, I think. It's sort of annoying when everyone is paired off just for its own sake, it's more natural (and I think it seems sweeter) if they don't just *poof* get together. Then again, it's hinted enough that you can tell that it's most likely going to happen.

I believe they hadn't gotten to the "relationhip" level yet but it's obvious that they had those "childish" flirtations with each one another. It easy to see the two together. They're both very out spoken and whimsical characters (not meant to insult).

Or maybe they both are 'mature' enough just to give it a try or just fool around with each other. Most relationships at games are quite disney-line, but to give fans something to fantasize about, why not hint that characters may be bit more braver or/and naughtier than they first appear.
I've always hated Selphie's childlike appearance, but empiric field experience has taught me that those girls can surprise you. xd To not be such annoyed by Selphie all the time, I'd like to think she has more guts on human side as well as battlefield.
