So, i've been using the IV guy in emerald. immediately north of the pokemon center in the battle frontier, there's a small building. inside is an old man who gives you a vague description of your pokemon's IV's.

Fist he'll tell you what tier your pokemon's total EV's fit into. the ones i;ve seen so far are: less than average, better than average, and quite impressive. there may be higher tiers, but i haven't seen them.

next he mentions which stat has the highest IV's, and then he tells you a different tier for that stat.

i only realized he has differnt tiers for EV's yesterday, so the only message i'm really familiar with is "flawless, a thing of perfection!" which STRONGLY implies that stat is a 31. under that was outstanding, and under that i think was impressive.

so, anyone have more details?
