Follow the Basic rules of RPing as listed on the main forum here will be specific Rules applying only to my Star wars RP.

Jedi Rules(your character will have the ability to become a Jedi, if you break my rules you will lose that ability)

Light saber Duels(this is for light side if you're tempted by the dark side you don't have to abide by these strictly, however this may incur the wrath of an NPC)

Lightsaber duel are for practice not for resolving disputes.
Never endanger bystanders.
Duel ends if someone is injured.
Always honor a request to end the duel.
Never strike an unarmed opponent, unless you yourself are unarmed.
Never strike an opponent who is unprepared.
Never use the force during a duel.
Nonlightsaber Tactics are considered fair game, grappling is frowned upon.
Never go for another Jedi's saber. Blasters and other weapons are fair game however.

the consequences of breaking one of these rules will be explained if and when it comes up.

Light saber battles are pretty much like duel except you don't need to abide by these guidelines, because you are fighting for your life as a lightsider you still need to watch out for bystanders and trying more to disable your opponent instead of kill them.

Lightsabers

as part of Jedi training you will have to create your own lightsaber.
you will be able to create a standard or double-bladed saber.

the handle of a lightsaber are distinct to the Jedi who creates it, so if your saber handle is made of something important to you, such as swoop bike handle bar or something, please state so.

The loss of you lightsaber is terrible and you'll be out of sync with the force until you reconstruct or regain your saber.

There are specific types of light saber switches, you must list which lightsaber you are using or I'll take it from you.

Standard: one touch on, one touch off.
Double offclick: one click on, Double click off. easy to install
Lock On: the Lightsaber's on/off can be locked in the 'on' position and can't be turned off with one touch. moderate to install
Force activated: the wielder must use the force to make a connection within the handle which allows energy to flow. Difficult to install

your lightsaber can be any color but for rare colors you must have a reason to have gotten them, either by answering the quiz question correctly , or by some other pain staking adventure, you can change which crystals are in your saber at any time outside of battles and climactic events.
Standard colors are Blue, Green, Red, White, Orange.

General Rules for my RP
first off as I said any breaking of the rules will meet with harsh punishment.

absolutely no Meta-gaming. the only information you can know about the past events are what I will list in the Story Thread, you can learn secret unknown information about these events by either discovering it on your own during the RP or by correctly answering the quiz, which will allow your party special insight into the lives of little known yet very important Star Wars characters.

No Godmodding period. your character is not invincible. He/she can be hurt, and badly, they can lose limbs and even die if you're not careful.

when in combat, if you are flashy and descriptive you can be awarded perks. By flashy I don't mean doing something that can get yourself killed, that's risky, which is a very different word. if you do something that could get you killed you will probably get seriously hurt, captured and/or killed. If you are flashy, have style to your fighting, and descriptive enough that I can actually see what your character is doing. I will reward it either with Rare items your character will stumble on or helpful plot devices.

you character profile must be as indepth and unique as possible. if yours is good enough I may grant you special plot devices, or rare items through out the RP. Stay as much within the star wars Genre as possible, but since there are thousands upon thousands of races within the galaxy you can be any you choose. I haven't yet decided if I will allow custom races. I will make a list of a few of the human like races that are force sensitive just incase you guys wanna look human but be something else, with special racial traits.
Example: the Kiffar have psychometric abilities, the ability to read thoughts or imprints left on an . an example of this is when Quinlan Vos lost his memories he was able to see some of his memories by touching his lightsaber when he found it. another would be that he could tell that Villy was planning to kill him when he touched his blaster.

if you paid attention there are multiple ways to get rare items or helpful plot devices in this RP you just have to be creative or knowledgeable about the star wars universe...if you're not either I dunno what to tell ya.

what I mean by helpful plot devices is like a get out of jail free card. in a seemingly impossible situation your character will have the power to generate an extremely unusual set of circumstances that will allow him/her to: Escape, Survive or defeat his/her opponent (this will never be used to kill somebody.) secondly I decide how the events fall into place and what exactly happens, not you, I will also decide how many times you will be able to use helpful plot devices before earning more, secondly I will never let you know if you do or do not have a helpful plot device and you'll have no control as to when and where they will be used. remember being captured may be a helpful plot device if you would have been otherwise killed.

Adversary Rules

these are rules for dealing with adversaries, not rules adversaries are forced to abide by.

Adversary rules only apply to important character against you, for example during the new republic Era Boba Fett might be an adversary.

don't worry about remembering which bad guys apply to these rules, because they'll be the ones listed on the character sheet thread. secondly adversaries do not have to start with a full character sheet, the sheet will only contain what the party knows about them. when they learn more it'll be edited to say more about that character. if you have a history with a character, such as Fett or other famous people you must list it in your character sheet.

your character sheet must contain any enemies that you may have gained through out your galactic travels otherwise I will not allow you to have enemies. enemies listed in your character sheet are free for me to abduct and turn into adversaries for the RP.

an adversary cannot be killed unless in a climactic battle or event.
a character's adversary can only be killed by the character whose adversary he is unless under specific circumstances during a climactic battle or event the adversary is killed by another player, usually to save the player whose adversary they are.
Example Han solo has Boba Fett as an adversary, only Han could kill Fett, Luke could only do it if he did so in order to protect Han, or had no other choice.

The main adversary of the RP will Be unbeatable until the final climactic battle. He also has access to all sorts of information including everything your party will do, say, and learn. also any confrontation or Battle with him prior to the climactic battle will cause you to lose your: weapon, hand, arm, both arms, leg, both legs, all your limbs, or your .

it'll be based on how much you should know at that point. as well as your alignment. for example I'd be more lenient with a darksider repeatedly attacking the main adversary everytime he appears than a lightsider. because it's part of your character as a darksider and I'm not going to punish you for RPing your character correctly, also a lightsider can be tempted to the darkside by enough defeats in which case he would repeatedly challenge the main adversary. but your RPing of these traits must be apparent before the time of confrontation or the consequences will be dire.

such as if your character begins to turn darkside from the defeats then he wold have to become obsessed with beating the main adversary. this may end with him being mortally wounded in the final combat but it won't be far from the end and I won't let you actually die until after the fight, unless you want to, to just die a dramatic and moving death to inspire your party, or to become a force spirit and help your party defeat him that way.

a lightsider will wait and watch his enemy until he can understand what gives him such strength. and at the final battle however long it takes you to figure everything out you will have a complete understanding of your main adversaries abilities. this in no way implies you have to be a lightsider to beat the main adversary in the final battle or that you will need to be one to survive the final battle it's just tips on confronting the main adversary as which side your playing, all I'm saying basically is please refrain from going berserk on him multiple times as a lightsider because that just doesn't make sense.

The RP only ends when either all the your characters are dead or the main adversary is dead. it is possible for the RP to end with every single character in it dying in some crazy super battle of ultimate awesomeness.

Light/Dark side rules

I'm pretty sure you guys know what I mean by this, for light side you tend to more humbled, logical and understanding.

Dark side you tend to be more irrational, aggressive and well just plain evil.

for grey you can kinda take parts from either.

which side you are has to be obvious to your character. THIS DOES NOT ONLY APPLY TO JEDI!

By obvious I don't mean you go crazy with it, like a darksider killing everyone in sight. I mean like little actions that show you understand which side your playing as well as show me which side you're playing without telling me, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TELL ME YOUR ALIGNMENT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE RP!
if you do something against your obvious alignment without a prior circumstance changing it even in the slightest, I will do something very bad to your character.
Example: an obvious lightsider kills someone with no reason.

to alignments there has to be an obvious force that's pushing you one way,
Example: Anakin viciously attacks A'sharad Hett(Tusken Raider Jedi.) in the heat of battle because his mother was attacked by Tuskens. a Jedi would be suggested to meditate on this to come to terms with it, but Anakin did not, and so became even darker.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Grey may be difficult to RP, mostly what I'm looking for is that you don't contradict yourself.
Example: you can't be irrational and logical at the same time, and you can't be humbled and aggressive at the same time.

Character Creation Rules

No personal ships your character does not have his/her own ship, you may have had one before but now maybe it's impounded for not paying a debt or destroyed and now you're looking for a new one.

Follin will have his own ship, but that is only so that we do have a ship we can use to travel freely through the galaxy. I'm only letting follin have the ship because he's helping me make it...it is also possible that follin's ship may be stolen, impounded, or destroyed before the RP ends.

No Vong you character cannot be a Yuuzhan Vong or any other race that has little or no force connection.

You're no Vet you character had little or no interaction with the Yuuzhan Vong or the war during 25-29ABY.

The New Kid on the block the vong have been in the system for about 5 years so there is a chance you ran into one or have learned a great deal about them between 30-35ABY.

What goes around comes around you will have to describe everything you did in between 25-35ABY, what happened to you, whether or not you abandoned the force, how old you were in 25ABY and how old you are now. whether you've shifted to the dark or stayed true to the light.
I want it to be seen through the events that befell you and your reaction to them, you are not to straight out tell me which way you went.

Your connection to the force has wained and in some cases you could have tried to destroy it, using deathsticks or other methods. Wiki Cade skywalker for and Example of this.

You can have some anger or resentment towards the force for abandoning you or someone important to you died during the war and so you abandoned the force because it abandoned them. if this is the case you'll probably act angry or hateful towards people who rely on or trust in the force.

Get a Job! Well you've turned your back on the force you've lost your friends and probably your family you probably spent alot of time with strange people and during that time you've probably picked up a trade skill or two, be it smuggling, stealing, bounty hunting, or spice dealing. you have to have some sort of occupation one that makes sense when someone looks at your back story.

Stand up and state your name for the group give an indepth back story depicting your character as best you possibly can, leave no detail left out and no rock unturned.
you must also have an indepth character description telling me all about how your character currently looks, don't forget the little details.
Your name should probably sound like it comes from the Race you chose if it doesn't Wiki the race and see some examples of their names to get an idea.

Beastlords of Onderon you will be allowed to have a companion of some sort be it beast or droid but it cannot be something giant or untameable, you can't have a Rancor or anything even a third as big or menacing. and if anyone says baby rancor they're getting hit over the back of the with a baseball bat.

Roll of the dice. any extremely complicated action will require a roll of the dice. if you're risking your life and leaving it up to chance you must roll the dice to see if chance will smile upon you. (I'll always tell you when you need to roll a dice and it won't be all the time.)
and to all you anti-cyberdice-superstitious-yahoos all I have to say is tough luck all dice are meant to do is give you an random number and cyberdice do that so I'm going to use them.
crafting your lightsaber will require the roll of the dice depending on what kind of saber it is or what kind of you have will make up the difficulty of the dice roll.

Race

"If chewbacca lives on endor you must aquit! the defense rests."

you must not forget that what race you are plays a big part in your Rping,

Human, the non-human looking races have great hostility towards you with a few exceptions prepare to be treated badly.

Kiffar, because of your psychometric powers you are likely to run your hands along anything you see whenever you enter a room, this includes: walls, switches, comm systems, etc. you cannot see images off living matter or corpses, without using the darkside of the force.

Miraluka, you must rely upon the force so any rules about forsaking the force do not apply to you, you will see the force and through it you will see force sensitives, Jedi and Sith even over great distances.

Twi'lek(females only), you probably don't like slavery very much and you might try to help anyone you can who is enslaved.

Cerean, if you went back to your planet during your travels your probably have a few wives. if you didn't your race probably isn't very happy with you.

Wookiee, all your speech must be within <> as to indicate that it's Shyriiwook. and anyone of us who does not know shyriiwook cannot understand you.

The force and you.

Calling upon the force

to call upon the force one must have a strong affinity for it. at the beginning of the RP as I've already stated your force connection is not as well as it could be(excluding miraluka). so in the beginning even if you do still have a connection to it, your connection is not strong enough to use the force to help you in all things also do not forget you can call upon the dark or light side of the force, the dark side is much easier to call out.

The dark side

the dark side corrupts you when you use it. if you use the dark side you will be darker for it and until you meditate on it, or do a light side action that cancels it out, the dark side will pull more and more at you.

dark side actions are bending the force to your will. such as resurrecting someone without the help of others, for selfish reasons.(Cade Skywalker)

The living force also known as the light side.

this is the side of the force that you call upon for assistance. such as to heal a wound or allow your body to be faster, stronger, or more sturdy.

light side actions are asking the force for assistance rather than commanding it or helping someone in need, with or without the force's help.

Neutral

neutral force powers are simple ones like mind trick and such, powers that don't call on any specific side of the force but just manipulation of it on a small level.

(More rules coming soon...as soon as I figure out what I'm doing.)

selectable races I feel like listing. this of course does not limit you to these races these are just some choices.

Human

duh!

Kiffar

The Kiffar were a species of Near-Humans from the planet Kiffu. As such, they were sometimes mistakenly called "Kiffu".

About one in a hundred had the ability to read the memories of inanimate objects by touch, or psychometry. Visually, they were comparable to any Human except for their distinct facial markings. These markings, applied as tattoos when young, were passed down through families on the mother's side, except for on those rare occasions where an individual's mother was not a Kiffar, in which case the father's markings were taken on. Such was the case of Korto Vos, the son of Kiffar Jedi Master Quinlan Vos and Human mother Khaleen Hentz. Clan membership seemed to be passed down on the father's side, although it is unclear what occurred when the father was not a Kiffar, in the case of Ailyn Vel. The Kiffar resided on the planets of Kiffu and Kiffex, and their skin came in as many varying shades as that of Humans. The traditional colors of the facial tattoos were red, yellow, and green. Various patterns and designs were used to identify the clan.

Sintas Vel, the former wife of Boba Fett, was of this species. The Tonnika sisters Brea and Senni were also Kiffar.

Miraluka

The Miraluka were a Near-Human, Force-sensitive species. Their language was Miralukese, although some, like Jerec and Visas Marr, preferred Basic. They differed from Humans in that they lacked pupils or irises, instead bearing only vestigial white orbs (or in some cases, such as Visas Marr, empty sockets), and perceived the environment around them through the Force instead of regular vision. This vision was so strong that if a Miralukan looked upon a Jedi or Sith they could "see" the Force radiation off them. For moral reasons, Miraluka hid the appearance of their eyes by wearing a headband, a mask, or similar concealing headwear. As a Force-using species, Miraluka were often quite shocked if shown life not connected to the Force. The Miraluka that lived on Katarr were strong enough that even they felt the Battle of Malachor, though it is possible that they felt not only that battle.

Despite their inherent connection to the Force, Miralukan Jedi were quite rare, and Miralukan Sith were completely unheard of in the Galaxy prior to the years following the Jedi Civil War.

Their original homeworld was Alpheridies. A colony world of the Miraluka named Katarr was stripped of all life by Sith Lord Darth Nihilus in approximately 3,952 BBY, during a Jedi meeting. The only survivor of this colony world was the Miraluka Visas Marr. Other Miraluka were Shoaneb Culu (a Jedi Shadow) and the Dark Jedi Jerec, one of the Emperor's Hands.

Kel Dor

The Kel Dor, sometimes referred to as Kel Dorians, hail from the technological planet Dorin. They require masks to protect them from oxygen-rich atmospheres and to protect their highly sensitive eyes from light. They are also known for their Force Sages, the Baran Do. One prominent Kel Dor is Jedi Master and Council member, Plo Koon.

Zabrak

The Zabrak, also known as Iridonians (when referring to the Zabrak who came from Iridonia), were a humanoid species native to Iridonia, a planet located in the Mid Rim known for its inhospitable terrain and fierce predatory life. They were a race known for having a fierce sense of self-determination and an equally dominant need for independence.

Zabrak resembled Humans to some degree, but had a number of significant physical characteristics that set them apart from baseline Humanity. The most striking of these were a series of vestigial horns that crowned the heads of both males and females. These horns grew at puberty in varying patterns and signified that the time of their rite of passage was drawing near. The horns were one trait shared by the many Zabrak subspecies, which were divided by a number of physical characteristics that differed from subspecies to subspecies. These could include different skin tones (which included peachy white, yellow, red, tan, brown and black) horn patterns, hair growth (though it should be noted that Zabraks, unlike Humans, could not grow eyelashes, eyebrows or facial hair) and eye color (which have certain pigmentations that Humans lack, such as purple, yellow, red and orange). Many inner physical differences existed between Zabraks and Humans, including the Zabraks' two hearts. Both muscles worked together to supply blood to an individual's limbs and organs, and had to work in synchronization in order to ensure proper bloodflow. Any arrhythmia in one heart could cause both to start fibrillating, which could swiftly lead to death if not corrected, because the bloodflow would be essentially stopped as the two hearts worked against each other.

Another of the traits that made Zabrak instantly recognizable were their facial tattoos, which were made up of thin lines received during their rite of passage. These could symbolize many things, including but not limited to family lineage, place of birth, or even a design that reflected their individual personalities.

Twi'lek

Twi'leks have skin that comes in a vast variety of colors, and two tentacles called lekku (singular lek) protruding from their heads. The name "Twi'lek" means "twin lekku." Part of the brain grows into the base of the lekku, and the width of the tails is proportional to the girth of each Twi'lek. Often the lekku will sport a pattern of spots, circles, or stripes in a different color from that of their skin, though these could be tattoos. Such "head-tails," or "worms," as they are called by others, are used for thinking and communication as well as sensual pleasure. Twi'leks are naturally completely hairless, except for their eyebrows. Known Twi'lek skin colors include white, green, blue, gray, red, orange, brown, yellow, and purple. The rarest are the red-skinned Lethans, followed by the blue-skinned Rutians. Green is the most common skin color.

Twi'lek females are prized for their natural beauty and gracefulness. They are frequently sold into slavery as dancers for crimelords, while others take jobs to dance at cantinas.

Both males and females have human-like ears , but females typically wear elaborate caps or head-bindings fitted with ear coverings made of bone or other material, leading to the belief among some casual observers that the coverings are actually their ears. Their language is a combination of vocal speech and lekku gestures. Twi'leks live in a clan-based society.

Homeworld

In the Expanded Universe, Ryloth is identified as the homeworld of the Twi'leks. Because of the nature of Ryloth's orbit around its primary, one side of the planet always faces the sun (an example of tidal locking). This results in the temperatures on the day side being very high, and the night side the temperature is very cold. There is a habitable band around the planet called "The Life Zone" where the day and night sides of the planet meet. Ryloth is a source for a spice known as ryll.

The Twi'lek people live in a series of caverns that are located in the habitable band of the planet; each cavern is inhabited by a separate clan.

Government

Twi'leks living in the caverns on Ryloth structure their society around a five member "Head Clan." These five Twi'leks lead the society in all such matters until one member of the Head Clan dies. At that point, the remaining members of the Head Clan are cast out into the barren landscape on the day side of the planet, presumably to die. Then five new members of the Head Clan are chosen.

Prominent Twi'leks

Aayla Secura

Trained by Quinlan Vos and Master Tholme, Aayla was a Jedi feared for her lightsaber skills and capable tactics, with a blue tone to her skin. She bound her lekku in leather bracings and dressed simply for combat. She was killed by clone troopers on Felucia when Order 66 was executed.

Cerean

Cereans were a sophisticated and cultured humanoid mammalian species that hailed from the planet Cerea in the Mid Rim. They had tall tapering heads, which housed large binary brains, enabling them to focus on many things at the same time. Aside from this unique feature, Cereans were physically similar to humans, although they possessed an extra heart, which supplied extra blood circulation to support their brains.

Cerean males aged more quickly than the females, who had similar lifespans to Humans. Thus, there were fewer males than females. Polygamous marriage was a necessity in order for the species to survive. Each male usually had one primary "bond-wife," and between four and ten "honor-wives."

Famous for their extraordinary thinking abilities, Cereans were often found among the ranks of the Jedi Knights, despite being exempt from the Jedi's vow of celibacy, due to their low birth rates. One such Jedi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, served the Jedi High Council during and prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.

Wookiee

Biology and appearance

"Can somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way?"
―Princess Leia referring to Chewbacca

A Wookiee.

The Wookiees' natural habitat was the dense forests of the planet Kashyyyk (though one source does contend that they were immigrants to this planet). Kashyyyk was covered with massive Wroshyr trees, in which the Wookiees constructed their homes and cities. Reportedly, Wookiees were descended from tree-climbing mammalians.

They had the ability to easily learn most languages. However, Wookiees lacked the vocal structure to speak anything other than their own languages.

Adult Wookiees were tall, in excess of two meters in height, and were covered with a uniform, mid-length coat of thick hair in various shades of brown. Although albino Wookiees were rare, they were not unheard of. However, such a birth was generally held to be a bad omen, as white hair did not blend in with the earth-tones of their forest surroundings.

Tojjevvuk, an albino Wookiee.

Young Wookiees (pups) were large at birth (averaging slightly less than one meter). Wookiees possessed vicious-looking retractable claws for climbing. Female Wookiees had six breasts and gave birth to live-born young, with their gestation period nearly a year long. After birth, a Wookiee grew very fast, fully conscious and able to walk unassisted within one standard year. The average lifespan of Wookiees was around 600 years. In spite of their bestial appearance, Wookiees were highly intelligent and have even mastered space travel. Wookiees also possessed great strength and exceptional skill in mechanical repair.

Wookiees were often short-tempered. When Chewbacca complained about a move in a game of dejarik that R2-D2 had made during their initial trip to Alderaan, Han Solo told C-3PO that it was not a good idea to upset a Wookiee – because an upset Wookiee would tear a person's arms out of their sockets (though Han and Chewbacca might have been teasing the droid). Despite their temper, Wookiees were usually gentle and affectionate with their friends and family.

Culture

In his travels to Tatooine with Revan, Zaalbar demonstrated Wookiee brute strength on a pair of Sand People.

"I suggest a new strategy, R2. Let the Wookiee win."
―C-3PO to R2-D2

One of the most well-known Wookiee traditions was the life debt. When a Wookiee's life was saved by someone else, even a non-Wookiee, they would frequently devote themselves to a lifetime of service to their savior and their family. Chewbacca's life debt to Han Solo, later extended to his family and his close friends, is one of the most famous examples of a Wookiee life debt.

The most common Wookiee language was Shyriiwook. While they were capable of understanding Basic, they were universally incapable of speaking it due to their unique vocal structure. Shyriiwook was a language which was hard to hear and understand for Humans, but one Wookiee, Ralrracheen, had a speech impediment that made it easier for non-Wookiees familiar with Shyriiwook to understand him.

Yubookoo, a shaved Wookiee.

"The Wookiees, although primitive compared to us, are surprisingly capable warriors. They're pretty strong, and pick up combat techniques pretty quickly."
―Canderous Ordo

Wookiees possessed a fierce style of fighting, typically eschewing standard blasters and grenades in favor of bladed weapons, such as ryyk blades, and powerful bowcasters—weapons physically weaker species could not use effectively.

Under the Wookiee code of honor, claws were never to be used in combat. A Wookiee who used his or her claws for combat would be labeled a "madclaw" and exiled.

Around the age of twelve, young Wookiees underwent the coming-of-age Hrrtayyk ceremony.

History

"Where are you taking this… thing?"
―Shann Childsen on Death Star I

The Wookiees are believed to have originated on the planet Kashyyyk, part of the Kashyyyk system, though some of their lore seemed to claim otherwise. In the millennia before the rise of the Galactic Republic, Kashyyyk was a member world of the Infinite Empire. Its surface was terraformed by the Rakata for agricultural purposes, but the collapse of their empire left the machines unattended, resulting in the abnormally large foliage.

Senator Yarua.

Later, Kashyyyk was discovered by Czerka Corporation, which enslaved the native Wookiees. They named the planet first "G5-623" and then, after a poll of stockholders, "Edean". Czerka control of "Edean" was disrupted when, in 3,956 BBY, the enslaved Wookiee populace overthrew the local corporate headquarters with the help of Revan and drove all outsiders off the planet. It was presumably some time after this before Kashyyyk decided to join the Galactic Republic.

"But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid."
"That's 'cause droids don't rip people's arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that."
―Han Solo to C-3PO

The Wookiees were welcomed into the Republic through dealings with the Corellians and Alderaanians. At least one Wookiee, the Jedi Master Tyvokka, became part of the Jedi Order. Eventually, Kashyyyk was even represented in the Galactic Senate. During the last decades of the Republic, Senator Yarua represented both Kashyyyk and Trandosha, home of the reptilian Trandoshans.

Negotiations between the Wookiees and the Trandoshans break down.

However, the Trandoshans resented their Wookiee neighbors; after some of them allied with the Trade Federation in the colonization of Alaris Prime, they also attempted to assassinate Yarua in 32 BBY. In 23 BBY, a Wookiee vessel was attacked over a moon of Trandosha, resulting in a Wookiee blockade of Trandosha. Peace talks to resolve the issue were conducted 22 BBY, under the mediation of Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis, but failed when it was revealed that the Trandoshans were pushing for Senatorial representation with Trade Federation backing.

During the Clone Wars, the Wookiees attempted to remain neutral at first. It was only after the death of Prince Rikummee at the hands of Separatist droids that King Grakchawwaa led his people into the war on the side of the Republic.

Later during the Clone Wars, the Confederacy invaded Kashyyyk. Conquering the planet would prove an asset since it would enable the Separatists to control hyperspace route planning and use the Wookiee's secret routes to disrupt galactic trade and communication. In response, the Republic dispatched a task force led by the longtime Wookiee-friend Master Yoda to defend Kashyyyk. There, a combined force of Clone troopers and Wookiees repulsed the Separatist droid invaders and their Trandoshan allies at the Battle of Kashyyyk.

However, victory was short-lived. With the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Jedi were branded enemies of the Republic. The Clone troopers then took over Kashyyyk and placed it under martial law. In response, the Wookiees rebelled against their new oppressors.

Chewbacca and Tarfful, two Wookiee heroes of the Battle of Kashyyyk.

At the advice of the Trandoshans, the Empire enslaved the Wookiees for their strength. Wookiee captives were used for countless Imperial projects including the Maw Installation and the Death Stars. However, because of their devotion to their homeworld, many Wookiees would evade the Imperial garrison to revisit their beloved forests for important Wookiee holidays, such as Life Day.

After the Battle of Endor, the Wookiees were liberated from slavery by the Alliance of Free Planets. The Nagai also attempted to enslave the species though they were repulsed by the New Republic. Sadly, the peace was short-lived. The Empire, having licked its wounds, quickly reestablished a presence on Kashyyyk and enslaved the Wookiees once more. Around 5 ABY Han Solo and Chewbacca assisted in inciting a revolution among the populace, helped in part by Lando Calrissian, Rogue Squadron, and Admiral Ackbar who took on Grand Admiral Peccati Syn in a pitched fleet-battle in the nearby Sumitra Sector.

Chewbacca and Tarful.

The Wookiees were represented by Kerrithrarr in the New Republic Senate and Kashyyyk became key signatory and member world of the Inner Council. The planet also welcomed trade and its city of Thikkiiana became a major exporter of computer technology. However, this made it the target of the agents of the Second Imperium in 23 ABY. A task force under Zekk raided Thikkiiana's computer stores for use by the Second Imperium in its war against the New Republic.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Wookiees would still continue to serve the New Republic and its successor government the Galactic Alliance. After the liberation of Coruscant, celebrations took place on the planet.

Dice rules.

as I have mentioned before there will be parts in the game where I will make you roll dice. so pay attention.

whenever there is a time when I require that you roll a dice you will roll a d6, with 1 being best outcome, and 6 being worst outcome. this is your prime dice.

on average 1-3 will be success and 4-6 will be failure of some kind.
note: there will be rolls where only 1 is a success.

you do not come up with the outcomes, I do.

how to enhance a roll.

there are two way to enhance your roll.

1: ask for help. you and anyone helping you roll a die. the better of the results counts. Meaning if one person fails and one succeeds it will count as a success, however the failed die is not simply dismissed. but I will get to that later.

2a: using the force. you're all force sensitive so you can all use the force to a degree.
as a force sensitive/padawan you are given 1 additional die when you use the force.
as a jedi knight rank you get 2 additional dice,
as a master rank you get 3.
I will refer to these extra dice as force dice.
example:Follin's character using the force to enhance his psychometric powers.
note:these dice are automatically given when you use a force power, however the extra dice are based on the rank of the skill instead of the rank of the user.
example: force jump would yield you 1 extra dice while master jump would yield 3, regardless of the character's rank
Note2: you cannot enhance a force ability dice roll using the force.

2b: using the dark side of the force. in addition to the die given by using the force, using the dark side gives you another additional die. however this puts you closer to the dark side.
Note: you do not gain the extra dark side dice when you use dark side force powers. however it is possible to enhance neutral force powers with the dark side and gain the extra dark side dice, as well as the dark side influence that comes with it. restricted to neutral powers only.

outcomes

when you enhance your roll while it does increase your chances of success there is a downside.

when enhance a roll using the force your force dice matter. if you roll a double failure(6,6) or double success(1,1) on any of your dice(force & prime), your force powers will become enhanced, or you will gain new dark, light or neutral powers.
note:this is not the only way to gain force powers, but it is the most common.

if you get a single failure on a force dice depending on what you're trying to do you may gain a dark force point, or the success will strain you more than usual, or both.

You don't know the power of the dark side.

gaining dark side influence, I will always tell you when you gain dark side influence from a dice roll.

it is suggested when a Jedi begins to be tempted by the dark side that he may need to meditate on it to remove that temptation. This is entirely an option.

if you go too far dark side the order will intervene, involving Kyle and Luke possibly trying to save you, kicking your a**, or totally excommunicating you from the order. after which point it will be possible to follow the main adversary and side against your former comrades, or seek power on your own.

Joining the main adversary,

if one character in the RP joins the main adversary, a new thread will open up, title something along the lines of hideout, or base. this will be the main adversaries base of operations where you will be given missions and sent out to interfere with your former companions.

Seeking your own power.

if you decide to go out on your own seeking your own dark powers the group will be tasked with bringing you in, they will chase you across the galaxy in order to turn you away from the dark side or put you down. The main adversary will follow you offering you power if you join him.

I will keep track of your dark/light side influence. when you shift a substantial amount in one direction a NPC (Luke or Kyle) will probably make a comment on it.

(still working.)
