Now a newer experience that I have been having for the past few days, is astral draconic wings. I woke up the other night with two spilitting pains both right by my shoulder blades, and when I openedd up my eyes I saw them glowing there on my back. They seem to come out when I first wake up, and go in when I goto sleep. Now Another reason why I think to be draconic, is the fact of past life regression, which some dont beleive to be true, but My soul was born from a dragons egg into humanlike form.

Accually quite a few dragonkin claim to experiace Phantom Wings, it is common in the cases of Dragon Kin I have dealt with. But Astaire I know what your going through, we all go through it we all want/need proof that all this is real. I am sorry I cannot help you further, all I can say is I support you in your search.

Well Im kinda different in a way. When I was 5 I went into seizures, and I died three times. And each time they brought me back. When I started to grow up, I realized that I sorta had a hightened spiritual connection. his is something that only my family really knows and sort of why I was able to have my astral wings, and see them, is because I was so into deaths door that something changed me inside.

If you would like to communicate with some astral dragons I suggest the book: Dancing With Dragons by D.J. Conway. The author is well thought of and I view the book as very informative. You may find your answers with the dragons of the astral plane. But be careful, they can be a bit edgy sometimes.

As for me, I am dragonkin, so to speak. One of my many counterparts is a black dragon named, Azure. The name was given to him for his blue eyes which are extremely rare with black dragons from what I've seen. He's old to us, but fairly young to most dragons. The way I know he is my counterpart is that I can see through his eyes, hear through his ears, see our reflection in the water, smell through his nose. When I travel from my body, I travel to the body of a counterpart. Last I saw him he was traveling to a large ivory castle for reasons unknown. I can communicate with him and he knows who I am and what our world will soon be going through. Well, actually he knows as much about it as I or any of us do. But he's been hearing things from some reliable sources. Something we do not know though, is if he will be fighting with us in this world or not. He may have his own battles to fight in his own world. That is why I think this war is much larger than just us. We may just be a peice to a larger puzzle. I'm getting off topic, please forgive me. But that's how I know I am dragonkin.

Black dragons: Black dragons are much different then how they are protrayed by this world. This world makes them out to be hideous, almost skeletal creatures who's looks match their allignment with evil. But in actuallity, it's very rare to find an evil dragon. Yes they can be tempermental, but not evil. And black dragons are not skeletal, but full bodied noble postured dragons. Their wings are not tattered with holes and decay, but full and magnificent. They do not breath acid, most breath little more than air. Mine however, is a fire breather. Firebreathing is meant for defence, and black dragons can depend on their strength, size, teeth, and claws to defend instead of fire. Many, as well as I, believe that dragons were created by Merlin himself. A very wise, yet sometimes humerous, old wizard who is still alive in many aspects today.

Demonic dragons: They are the evil ones that most of the mythology here are based on. They were created by someone other than Merlin, (maybe Morgana) and spent their days terrorising. It is said in some worlds that Merlin killed them all off for they were abominations. But I've seen some clues that suggest some may still be alive since those ancient times. But I'll talk more about this when I reveal more information to you all.

Besides the feelings of wings and tails (and teeth, claws...), there are some other things.

Of course, this is just what I know about myself:
I... hoard... I like shiny things. I like marbles. I keep a collection of them under my desk, in a somewhat shiny metalic bowl. I even have a wooden box with a built in simple lock, that has not only money... but different things such as bracelets, necklaces, two other containers, a pocket knife (which... I don't know why I bought it), and I think a glass bottle.
I could say protective of things... but then again, who wants to see their things be stolen?
I like some things that take lots of thinking. I even like being stumped... because then I know I have learned something new.

Really though, that's not the reason I think I am dragon. (It's just part of who I am, the things above.) One of the major reasons is a dream I had of becoming one, physically, while running from a darkness. This was years ago... long before I showed a true "interest" in them, even longer to finding my first otherkin page.

Who can be sure though, if it's all true, or a trick? sad I question myself...

well i know i'm a dragon. i've seen myself as well as i just know. it's inside. a good while ago i started seeing this dragon in my mind's eye. i felt a connection to it and as time went on it made more and more sense that it was me. so that's how i know. the way i see it is there is no proof, you just have to go on faith and what you know for sure inside. i have never seen scientific proof on this subject and i doubt we'll see any for a good many more years...or so.

It might be that I don't have that much of a "scientific" mind, more so that I end up going "according to *this*" because that's how I organize things.
For example, if I were to talk of something I learned in Astronomy, I would say such as "according to Astronomy, we are created out of stardust because all elements came from the process of stars' life cycles."

I don't know if things have come to me... or if it's been a bit of me exploring as well.
What I mean is that I'm sure that the one dream I had sort of helped me along, of being a dragon. It's... stuck with me, and I think that maybe even the period of trying to doubt I was a dragon inside, it helped too.
The way that I figure that... I tried to distance myself from anything that reminded me of the dream, and I tried to stay from dragons in general. Pictures, text, thoughts...

As for "agreement" with it... there are things that recently and far back I seem to have done.
Like, drawing what I see myself as a dragon as. And, then there was one recent incident where I had a steak.
The odd bit there is I just don't eat steak and want like my food fully cooked.
With the steak though, the inside was pink, it was delicious... I tried to eat it by not chewing it to bits, but more like gnawing on bite pieces till I could just swallow it.
The next morning though, as I said in another thread, I just felt so blissful and "feral" is a word that comes to mind... but not wild. Just felt so content to be there in my sleeping space ("den" I suppose) and to feel so full and... I was just so blissful from it. So, instead of getting up and "greeting the day", or going back to sleep, I just lay there, shifting around in my bed, and I guess I would have if capable been purring were I a cat.
I don't know, I was just so happy. I think the only other time I've even came anywhere close to this was after I had deer chili. So... a deer steak. Heh.

I suppose I would suggest doing something to try to bring yourself closer to... um... yourself. sweatdrop
