Please us if you are going to be absent for a long period of time. If you are a student you will then be excused from assignments and homework and have a chance to make up your work if you choose when you get back. Please state your name, year, and house.

I'm not absent currently but I'd just like to mention if I suddenly disappear it because of the following reasons:
1.My extended family is visiting and I'm not allowed to use the computer
2. I've gone to my grandmother's.
3. I live in an area where it storms frequently due to hurricanes (they haven't hit me yet this year) but power outtages are common and take forever to get power back on.
So if I'm ever absent for an extended amount of time it is probably due to one of those reasons.

Hey everyone,
On this coming Wednesday a hurricane is supposed to hit South Texas, a path which I am unfortunately in. At the earliest I will be gone on Monday to leave for my Uncle's house in upper Louisiana for and undetermined amount of time.
For all my students when I play Professor Godefroy there is no homework during my absence nor is there extra credit.
As the Blake siblings, teachers please excuse my absence. I will do my best to stay in contact with all of you and I hope you will all wish me and my family the best in this hurricane which depending on the circumstances could be or not be devastating to us.

Just to give you a bit of a heads up, my school starts on August 29th, so I'll be on gaia less, but I can still catch up on my classes and RPs if you give me the chance.

I'm off to Projekt Revolution tomorrow. I'll be gone all day, and most likely be out cold most of Saturday.
Also, my school starts Sept. 5th, just to give fair warning.

I haven't been online properly for a bit, and I don't think I would be as school is starting at sepetember 5th. So I'm sorry if my characters are going to miss a few classes and homeworks as I will go on the computer less. I've got my SATs this year. stressed

Y'all I've been in school for a week now, and I don't think its a valid excuse to be absent. I mean everyone's starting school (if ur under eighteen) so we all know what you're going through but it still isn't a good excuse to really post as being absent. Being gone for a little bit because of school is expected. Why bother telling everyone?

Well, maybe because some people have hardcore school and activities. For example, I'm training for the tennis team, taking rock keyboard and guitar classes, as well as taking my career in film making to the next level at the community TV station. Sophomore year is going to be packed for me, but I've always got time for the amazing world that JK Rowling has made, as well as the fun and inventive people who are a part of this guild.

I understand having a job and hardcore activities as well as finals/state tests, my brother plays football and I'm getting a job soon. I'm talking about the people who just have regular school with no hard activities who are gone for a weeks at a time when posting on gaia only takes at the most 10-15 out of their lives once a week.

Well I have school with several hard classes, SATs this year, voice lessons, chorus concerts, band practices and concerts (a lottt of singing stuff), friday nights with friends every friday night, BOYS, and drama club on wednesdays, and I'm gonna be auditioning for the lead in a musical in the spring. So I'm very busy but I manage to RUN this guild. If I can get on here to post, teach a class, organize events, create subforums, add new students and deal with managing this guild I'm pretty sure you all can manage to post once or twice a day!
