Grammar
Hello and welcome to the grammar page. Here is where you will find what you must do to have good writing. The general rules: Use Capitals when needed. Commas are encouraged to make the writing more effective. Please use ?, ! and ... when needed.
Talking
When your cats talk, you must use "". You may put it in bold, so people know exactly when you are talking.Also, after the cat talks, you must have one of these:
-She/he Meowed. {Normal talking.}
-She/he Hissed. {When the cat is stressed in any way.}
-She/he Purred. {When the cat is affectionate.}
-She/he Yowled. {When the cat wants to be loud.}
-She/he cried. {When the cat is desperate or sad.}
Good Example:
"Hey, Want to go hunting?" The kitten meowed.
Bad Example:
*cat walks up to you* hey want 2 go hunting
Thinking
When your cats thinks, you must put it in italics. You may have one apostrophe on each side. You may also have it underlined if you want.ALSO you may have: 'the cat thought' afterwards.
Good Example:
'What's going on?' The cat thought, confused.
Bad Example:
what is going on the cat thought.
Actions
In your basic writing, everything is an action, 3rd person must be used, like you are telling a story. You can NEVER, EVER use these **.
Overall Good Example:
The cute kitten walked around camp, wondering what to do. She caught up to her brother. "You want to go hunt?" she asked politely. 'Man, today is being pretty boring.'
Overall Bad Example:
*walks around camp* want 2 go hunting. today is boring the cat thought
