Strawberry/Banana Smoothie
3-4 small ice cubes (omit if using frozen fruit) 1 ripe banana cut into thick slices 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, (preferably halved) 1 cup vanilla, banana, or strawberry low-fat yogurt 1 cup low-fat milk 1 tbsp. honey
place ingredients in blender and blend until it is frothy.
recipe serves two
(if you want it to be thicker omit milk and add a few more slices of banana or strawberries. You can also omit the honey if you prefer it without)
Vitamin A: 8% Vitamin C: 80% Calcium: 35% Potassium: 24%
