I just got my first tattoo this past Tuesday (Jul 31) for my birthday. It's healing alright, my mum got one a few years ago so she knows how it should look.
My boyfriend is coming to stay for the weekend on Thursday and I'm siked for him to see it. It's on my upper back under my neck, and I'm a little worried about sex since I prefer missionary but am worried about my tattoo rubbing against the bed. It'll be a little over week old by then, will it be ok?

Why not try a different position if you're worried?
You could try being on top or doggie or you could both lay on your side... there are many other positions available.
If you aren't open to the idea of a different position... have you slept on your new tattoo yet? I would think that if you've slept on it and it still looks ok, you should be ok for missionary. Don't take my word for it though because I could be seriously wrong about this.

I've slept on it, but I sleep on my sides. Anyone else have any advice?

Maybe put a bandage or gauze pad over it, just while you're having your fun, to make sure the tattoo is protected?
