 Dueling Club
Hello and welcome to the Dueling Club, I Professor Lillix and any other teachers who wish to join in have started a dueling club to teach students how to defense themselves in an attack. No need to sign up just arrive and choose a partner and we'll begin.
Now the first thing we're going to learn is how to disarm your opponent, so I'd like you all to start out practicing "Expelliarmus" before continuing with more complex spells.
If a student performs a hex or cruse that I have not given permission to be used in this club that student will be punished.

Lily's wand shot out of her hand. "That'll do Illuminatus." She replied picking her wand off the floor where it fell. "Lets wait until we set up pairs to start dueling eh?" She suggested kindly. "But that was quiete good I must say. Next person to arrive will be your partner, then you can practice on them."

Illuminatus snorted. "Not likely. And besides, who would want to be a Slytherin's partner?" He spat the word Slytherin out like a swear word. "I'm beginning to think I should have told the hat to place me in Ravenclaw. My intellect is large, but the darkness in my heart often misrepresents itself." A few blue sparks shot out of his wand from his anger.

Illuminatus hid a cruel smile. "At your pleasure, Erasmus!" he cried, raising his wand into a curious shoulder-level attack stance, as if he were holding a sword.

"Alright boys now remember, on the count of three you are to do nothing except disarm your opponent. Now wands at the ready!" Lily declared standing beside the two boys who were now facing opposite each other. "1...2....3...GO!"

Illuminatus deftly flicked his wand. "Protego." As the spell rebounded toward Erasmus, he pivoted on one foot and slashed his wand, hissing, "Expelliarmus!" A spell of hair-raising strength streaked toward Erasmus, following the first.

Erasmus was immediately angry as he saw his wand fly across the floor.
"How dare you!" he shouted. "Filthy mudblood," barked Erasmus. He ran to pick up his wand, gripping the thin wood with great intensity.You'll pay for that.
"Professor!" yelled Erasmus, turning to Professor Lily.

Illuminatus laughed a cold, harsh laugh. "Dear me, Erasmus. Have we a touch of a poor sport at dueling?" He mocked, making a come-and-get-it gesture and raising his wand once more to shoulder level. "Have another go."

"How did I cheat? Am I not permitted to defend myself?" Illuminatus laughed incredulously at Erasmus's whiny protests.

"And so I disarmed you. Besides, anyone of moderate intelligence can safely assume that there is no point in dueling if both participants get hit. Professor Lily meant no additional hexes. She doesn't want us killing each other, though it's tempting." Illuminatus smiled jokingly.
