I have been a Gaia addict for quite some time now.. For nearly my entire Gaian life I have been very dedicated to donating every month for Sealed Envelopes. However, I recently have decided to invest more time and money in Ragnarok Online instead of Gaia. I have told myself that I will do my best to buy letters with earned gold so that I may purchase items from RO's recently implemented Kafra Shop.
My fear is that I'm going to spend money on two monthly subscriptions (one for myself and one for my sister) and on items from the Kafra Shop, and then when the Sealeds open I'm going to have a heart attack and cry myself to sleep over not choosing to donate to Gaia. XD;;;
So, have any of you ever been in a similar situation?
Do you buy Sealed Envelopes?
If so, have you ever had a hard time choosing to spend your monthly
luxuries money on something else over Gaia?
Did you regret it?
Did you cry?

When Transformers came out I decided to go buy a toy instead of donate to Gaia.
When I saw what the items where, I nearly died.
I say choose which one you love more at the moment and go with that.
If worse comes to worse you can switch it each month.
Just make sure you save gold.

I say go for RO since it's not terribly terribly hard to round up 10k or so if you like the DI's for the month on Gaia. 3nodding
I never donate, because when I do have money it goes to real life things, mostly cd's and whatnot.

I never donate, because when I do have money it goes to real life things, mostly cd's and whatnot.
I'm going to have to learn to live with a one or two MCs per month. Curse this pixel addiction! gonk
It's inevitable that I will eventually take a break from RO though, so that gives me a little comfort in knowing I will likely be able to quest for them all once I have more time to dedicate to Gaia. I quested for a number of 04 items a long time ago, but then again 04 items didn't have as many poses as these newer MCs.
I think that's what scares me, really. The thought of attaining each MC in every pose that I want seems like a daunting task. emo

Yeah, a long time ago I thought that I would just not buy the DIs that I didn't like very much, but they generally grew on me later and by the time I wanted one their price had shot up.

don't really donate like havin my money around for a lil chill time with my amigos. besides getting the gold to buy it on the market later isn't too hard

Also, I often find that when I buy MCs with real monnies there are sometimes traffic jams or glitches and I'm somehow prevented from getting my letters right away. And when buying too early or too late from the Marketplace the prices are always jacked up way high and it sucks D:
I always like the MCs each month anyway, so I don't worry if I'll hate them or not. Even the ones that aren't the best in the world always grow on me after I play with tektek for a bit. <3

I myself don't know what to do about it either. xD I want to get a special headgear, but I also want to donate. :/ Maybe we both get one letter and and one item? Grr...But I want both letters!! rofl
Maybe make your sister pay you back? Thats what I would do. xD
