Name: Mya Tyler

Gender: Female

Reason for being in the Labyrinth: She has been a part of the labyrinth since she was 19 when her baby brother Jacob was turned into a goblin. She was unable to go home, so Jareth hired her for cleaning up the castle when needed
Brief History: She was only 19 and had just finished reading "Labyrinth" the book when her baby brother Jacob was crying. Another night of this after her parents told her they would let her go out tonight. She had read in the book that if she asked for it, the goblins would help her by taking her brother away. She had called for them only to wind up walking the labyrinth. When she had aarrived at the gates to the Goblin City, it was too late. Her brother was a goblin and she was unable to go home. Soon after, Jareth saw there was use for her, so he hired her to clean the castle when needed.

Skills: Is able to control the element of water. Able to forge and craft a weapon should the time ever arise, and has an ability to smile and make everything calmer.

Mya's History: The Home

"But..."

"You have to stay and take care of him."

"You promised!"

With that, Mya ran to her room. Her parents told her she was able to go to the mall with a few of her friends. Boy, were those plans shot. She was only 19 and had no life. Her mother and father left with no words spoken. She had just picked up her book and was finishing the final chapter of it. "Labyrinth" was etched in gold on the cover. Mya always loved fantasy. Her whole room was covered in posters and filled with objects of fantasy, it just suited her. Mya placed the book down on the table and sighed.

"At least its peaceful. Finished my book."

The words were uttered too soon. Jacob, her little brother, started crying. She stormed in there and just stared at the crib that had him encased. He was wailing and throwing his toys out onto the floor.

"Your so spoiled. You always get what you want and you leave me to suffer. I wish that there was a way to just get rid of you."

She turned and threw all the toys along side of the bed.

"I wish the goblins would come and take you away.....right now."

With the last toy thrown on the bed, she started to walk out of the room. She froze when she heard a peck at the balcony window.....

Mya's History: The Meeting

Mya turned around slowly. That peck on the window was really starting to scare her. She saw a white owl. SHe no longer heard her brother, who at this time was cooing at what she saw in the corner. Mya looked at him pointing and smiling and then slowly looked in the corner. A goblin, no taller than her calf muscle smiled at her, then ran for the crib. She stopped him, realizing that the earlier words she spoke were coming true. She saw two other goblins in her crib and were trying to get the three of them out of the crib. Suddenly, the window flew open by a gust of wind and the owl made its way across the room and preched itself on the bed. Mya clsoed her eyes, fearful at what was happening.

"Now dear, open up."

She opened her eyes and looked up slowly. There he was, in a dark green outfit with matching cape. He was holding Jacob and he was about as calm as can be.

"You...your..."

"Just call me Jareth. I came ot take this little lad with me."

Mya ran to the window and stopped him dead in his tracks.

"I can't just let you snatch him. My parents...."

With a quick snap of his fingers, objects were turning blurred and becoming other objacts. Furniture were turning into ricks, the bookshelf was a tree and the bed became a beaten pathway. There was Jareth standing with Jacob in his arms.

"Your parents can't save you here. I am going to switch things up however. You have only 11 hours to solve the labyrinth. Your brother will become one of us forever if your unable to solve it. Mya, don't let me down.

With that he was gone.

Mya's History: The Labyrinth and Ending

Mya was only a third of the way through the maze. No one or nothing was helping her, every new turn was a dead end when she turned around. It was like he was doing this to spite her. What made it worse was the he placed clocks all around the maze and time was quickly running out. Only three hours remained and she made it a little further. To even have a chance at the bog of stench and enchanted forest would have to be those last few hours, she was no place near either one of those. She stumbled over branches and rocks, tears starting to steadily flow down her cheeks. She had gotten them into this. Now there may be no way to get them out of it, and she would be the one to blame IF she got to go home. She flipped around as the clock behind her began to chime. One hour, and she was almost to the Fire Gang. Her mind was racing.

Damn, I am the one that got us here. I never thought they were real. That book....when i get home....IF I get there, I am tossing that book out a window so someone else can have it.

She had arrived at the fire pit where the fire gang was supposed ot be. Instead, a clock appeared and Jareth arrived solo...

Jareth stood there. He was looking at a very frightened young girl.

"My dear Mya, your time is up."

He was right, Mya looked at the clock. The chimes bellowed at the 11th hour. Mya was in tears. She slumped to her knees in tears. Jareth slumped next to her, snapped his finger and they wound up at his castle.

"No need to fret my dear Mya. Jacob is safe....a goblin now....but safe none the less. Your room is beyond that door. You will be cleaning the castle, but only when asked of you. Other than that, your free to roam the goblin city and make new friends."

With that, a small smile crept up as Jareth left Mya to open the doors to her chambers.
