Rules
Hopefully you have all read the front page before requesting to join, but here are the rules posted once more and a little further detail with them.
- Do not post in the announcements unless it is a question about that subforum. Otherwise your post will be deleted. - Do not flame, troll, or otherwise behave like a total a*****e. If you have a problem with someone, I expect you to work it out civilly, if that fails, come to a captain. - Do not make derogatory remarks/slurs about someone's race, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. Same as above. - Do not overdo it with the questing or advertising. Once in a while is alright, and sure, quest threads in here are fine, just don't go posting it in every topic. - Watch what you're saying. By all means, swear, just not every second word. If you do this, you probably have some issues that need working out. Preferrably away from us. - Make a passable attempt at literacy. If we can understand what you're saying, we're good. - Be active. If you're going to join, post at least semi-regularly. Don't join, post once, and then disappear for eternity never to be heard from again. I HATE THAT. Be gone for more than 1 month without giving us a reason = the boot. - Obey Gaia's TOS.

Demerit System
A little like Quebec's driving code, but here everything gives you 1 point.
Here's the deal. When you join, you get 5 merit points. Breaking a rule gives you 1 demerit point, in other words removes 1 of your points. When you get to 0 merit points, you get kicked out. At the beginning of every month, your points reset to 5. If I see anyone abusing the system, for instance every month getting to 1 point just for the hell of it, you get kicked out anyway. Clear?
Also, though not a rule, not posting in the "Introduce Yourself" thread earns you 1 demerit point.
