I'm watching it now and they are showing this sniper rifle bullet designed to hit a target from 2500 yards away. eek Standard barret .50 cal rifle rounds are only effective to about 2000 yards.

Holy s**t. eek Thats insane...... Also, is there a license for the .50 cal? i mean, can a civilian get one? I wanna go hunting, and shoot a deer through a tree.

.50 cal is pretty badass. I don't think you could get one. It was pretty crazy the bullet was fired from a .50 rifle I think. They reduced some of the weight so it wouldn't slow down as much, then they put in a new gunpowder that would launch the bullet even faster. When Mac fired it (without warming up first) He got the equivalent of a gut shot on the first shot. eek

I am unimpressed untill humanity can prove to me, that it can make a giant laser gun capable of destroying a meteor that would hit Earth.
I am a little paranoid about meteors hitting our planet. sweatdrop
