I've been thinking alot lately about mix and matching pickups. This what I've come up so far.
Telecaster single coil for the bridge, a Gibson humbucker, and what should the middle pickup be? Duncan? Floyd Rose?
I've just been wanting to know what the twang of the Tele would sound like combined with the deep and warm Gibson with another constraint of the middle pickup.

Hmm...maybe a P-90 in the middle? I love the sound of those, it's like a strange mix of a single-coil and a humbucker.

I have a fondness for Seymour Duncan Evolutions, they really do a great job.
