Okay first off if you havent read the book don't read this!!! Okay, is it just me or is Jake being a little manipulative? I think that when he tricked her into thinking he was going to kill himself if she didn't kiss him, hetried to get her to think she loved him like she loved Edward. But I think near the end she really sees whats really going on, and that Edward is the center of her world and that Jake is just balance, but who needs balance when you have Edward? I very much so wanted to kick Jacobs a**!
Also Bella's a bit out of character. I'm used to reading about the goofy clutz, but I think maybe that when Edward left it made her, Stronger? Maybe a bit more mature? I'm not entirly sure. Also she's been dying to have sex!? Not something I could she Bella doing, but she the one making the move!? Then near the end Edward wants to have sex, and she doesn't want to? Who in there right minds would turn down Edward for sex? Even though he'd probly break your pelvis when he thrusted to hard...
Also is Charlie just this big loser, couch patato? Who wouldn't notice there daughters boy friend is a vampire and that the vampire and your daughter went to fight off an army of angry newborns? Charlie is a bit of a loser. Earth to Charlie, your biggest worries about Bella arent about her having sex!
But overall I loved the book, It was action packed and Edward seemed to be more himself later on in the book.

yeah, i made a bored saying how OOC the characters are, That kinda disappointed me, but the book was definetly good, regardless.

She may love jake but not the same way as Edward. If Edward were to leave it you've hurt her physcally, and Jake's just balance. She would live on, be normal; it'd just take time. I'm still for she doesn't like Jake the way she likes Edward.

Yeah, they were a bit out of character but I think Bella's just matured a bit more... Jake was being very manipulative but so was Edward {NOTE: I DO want Bella to be with Edward}
But yeah, finished it last night but it was too late and nobody was up and I really wanted to rant xd Like, Jake leaving was sad i mean it sounded so...final. (I'm a freaking sap, so kill me lol)
There were some really great moments in there and I loved it, in my opinion it was better than New Moon and there were all sorts of funny, witty comments
Bella is hilarious when shes arguing or mad... like the whole "I'm SWITZERLAND" thing... it is neutral but it has its own INTERNAL civil wars... Sound familiar? Thought so.
Anyway, this is getting too long I'm done now =]

Personally, I love Jacob. I have for awhile. I was really REALLY angry with Edward when he left Bella in New Moon. He should have not tried to be such a hero, and just stayed with her. Granted, he did it in love, but it was still a moronic thing to do. And yeah, Jacob was an idiot to manipulate Bella like that, but he was desperate. I really identify with Jacob, from the "Coming Second" perspective. Go easy on the poor guy, he was fighting for love.
I was just waiting for the moment when Jacob told Bella that he'd imprinted upon her, but it never came.
The tent scene when Edward and Jacob had a heart to heart was my absolute FAVORITE. Though, Bella asking for sex was pretty much hilarious...and amazing. I had toes curled in anticipation just waiting for him to mercilessly ravage her, but it never came. crying wink whee
And yeah, Charlie IS blind, but I don't really like Charlie regardless, so it's all good. I like Renee even less though...
What I really liked was hearing more about Jasper and Rosalie. And the scene where Alice is waiting for him in the diner...kill me! So cute!
Overall, I LOVED Eclipse. Twilight was a bit on the gushy side, New moon was a bit on the depressing side, but this was PERFECT. So thrilled about this novel. Well done Mrs. Meyer.

I'm going to say exactly what I said in that other spoiler/rant thread:
If Jacob's not in the next book, I'm gonna be darn happy.
I hate Jake, and I hated Bella when she kissed him.
Jake's an a**, and I want to kill him, even though you people may feel bad for him, I sure as hell don't.
Also, I adored chapter twenty. No Jacob, just Edward and Bella... ah. That was a beautifully written chapter.
Also, as the banner in my signature states, I would have seriously gone insane if Eclipse had come out even a day later, no joke.
