Woot woot. So when did yall get your books and how long did it take you to read them? Fave parts? Worst parts? Discuss.

(I got my book at 12:13 and had it done in less than 24 hours later)

I got mine somewhere around the third day after we bought it. Mom read it nearly nonstop till she finished. It took me a week to finish because I was doing other stuff throughout the time, like cleaning around the house and looking for a job...

Seriously, not happy about this. I mean, I'm glad it's all over. Woohoo! Happy that the good guys won, as per usual... But FRED? I refuse. Just like I refused about Dumbledore. That's just bullshit (pardon my language).

Anywho, yeah...

I know!! Of all the Weasley's that had to die, she HAD to pick one of the coolest, Fred. Personally, I've hated Ron since the 2nd book so I was really hoping he would die. But not Fred!! crying He's too cool....

What'd you think of the epilogue? Wasnt it... weird? sweatdrop I mean come on, Albus Serverus Potter? What kinda name is that? Poor kid...

Him and Scorpius. And Hugo Weasley probably too xd Neville seemed to be the only normal person in the end. And Luna.

The irony behind Luna being normal cracks me up so bad.

FRED. FRED. FREEEEED! gonk

AND LUPIN!!!!! crying

alright. I'm controlling myself now. XP

Albus Severus was just a bit to much. It seemed to me like Harry got to pick all the names for their kids and not Ginny. I think the only name I liked out of all the names was Rose. whee

We read it over a period of about two weeks. I think mostly because the first half of the book was slow (seemed to drag). Once Ron rejoined Harry and Hermione, the book seemed to pick up pace. Loved it, even though it made me cry several times (ack! so many character kill offs). I thought there were too many mysteries explained in the two chapters with Snape's memories and Dumbledore in limbo. The way that they just kept coming made the explanations seem kind of cheap. I'd have liked to have seen them spread out over the rest of the book.

Yeah, and when Ron left I was really hoping he'd die or something. *sighs* But no, instead, his cooler than him brother is kill.ed off!! crying Fred was too cool to die....

When I heard there was going to be an epilogue for 19 years later, I really thought we'd find out like their jobs and what happened to like, Mr. & Mrs. Weasley, and stuff like that. I was actaully really disappointed.

Scorpious!?
ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER?
I was lmao the entire time.

It took me 5 1/2 hours to read it, and that was with my older sister asking me what page I was on every five minutes. I was so upset by Fred dying and that Albus Severus was going to grow up with people yelling that he has a stupid name and shoving him in dumpsters that I missed Phylis's wedding on The Office.

She should have said more about their jobs and what happened to the other characters instead of telling us about their confusing little posse of badly named children. XP
