I dunno though, it's freaking expensive, and they say it's only going to drop anotehr $50 or so within the next few months. D: ********! I don't want to pay freaking $500!! Dx I don't have the money, but I want it sooooo bad!!!

I hear the new Elites have new heat sinks installed in them, so that's good. But I say wait until the price drop and save your money!

I say don`t bother, get the reg 360, then get the Xbox Intercooler, it works great o-o just like plug it in after your xbox gets really hot, and within around 30 min it`d be ice again xD

only buy the elite if u gonna download loads of movies and stuff... if your not then i wouldnt bother so just stick with the pro (which now dont breakdown so often like they did when they 1st came out)

The elite is only like 400 now, still sexpensive, but not as expensive as the PS3.

As far as Ive read the Xbox 360 Elite is for entertainment perposes only(downloaded movies, music etc, etc) only get it if you dont intend on playing video games, because I hear the quaility of the regular Xbox360 in games is better than the Elite...

There was a price cut! But wtf? Only 50 dollars, Don`t bother getting the elite, just save the money for the regular xbox360 and get an Xbox Intercooler. All ya need and it works great! :3

Please don't waste your money. All the elite offers are very few improvments and a whole lot of gimmiks. It's not worth it.

Eh heh...The Xbox 360 Elite model is not meant specifically for entertainment purposes. It's just another type of 360 that's just as good for games as all the others. It's just a slightly improved upon model with HDMI (Something that won't exactly be noticable to the naked eye upon comparison with an HDTV).
Rumor: I heard that the more reliable, slightly more expensive components for the 360 were going to the Elite, which would imply that it would run smoother without less hangups. Again, just a rumor...although it would explain the extra cost.
