Hyouton - Ice Release
Hyouton is an ability limited to the members of Amia's mother's former clan. The original name of the clan is unknown, and has been lost throughout the years through many branches of the same original family.
User's of the Hyouton gain the ability to utilize water and wind chakra to create ice, which can later be turned back into water. This ice can be manipulated with chakra, resulting in a variety of different effects.
This ability also allows the user to form handseals with one hand if necessary.
Signature Ninjutsu
Hyouton: Haryuu Mouko (Ice Release: Destruction Dragon Fierce Tiger) A technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, an ice tiger will rise from the surrounding ice to strike out against its target. Its cold nature can freeze any nearby water, and its large mass can cause a large amount of damage when it impacts.
Hyouton: Hyourou no Jutsu (Ice Release: Ice Prison Technique): After forming the needed handseals, the user will touch the ground, causing columns of ice to rise from the ground at her foe. If caught, the ice will rise up around her target and imprison them. The user can also use this technique as a defensive measure, raising the ice to form a shield against incoming attacks.
Hyouton: Itsukaku Hakuegei (Ice Release: One Horned White Whale Technique): After forming the needed handseals, a gigantic horned white whale made of ice will rise from the surrounding snow to come thundering down on an opponent, crushing them and the surrounding area under its large mass.
Hyouton: Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu (Ice Release: Black Dragon Blizzard): A technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust their arm to send out a black ether-like dragon to strike their opponent. As it flies through the air it will begin to turn, when it hits the target it will use its motion to launch the opponent high into the air.
Hyouton: Souryuu Boufuusetsu (Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard): A technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust his arms to send out twin black ether-like dragons to strike his opponent. As they flies through the air they will begin to turn, creating a large dark tornado.
Hyouton: Sensatsu Suishou (Ice Release: Death by a Thousand Flying Water Needles): By splashing water towards the target, usually by means of a kick, the user freezes the water in the shape of one thousand senbon, which fly towards the target at high speeds.
Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki (Ice Release: Snow Storm Swallows): A technique utilizing the Ice Element. The user will create ice swallows which she can launch at her opponent. As they fly through the air, these deadly birds can hone in on their target. A sufficiently hot enough counter can melt the ice swallows.
Suiton: Baku Suishouha (Water Release: Bursting Water Collision Waves): A technique utilizing the Water Element. After forming the needed handseals, the will expel water from their gullet. This will then expand into a large volume of water.
Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Release: Grand Waterfall Technique): A technique utilizing the Water Element. After doing the needed hand seals a column of water will circle the ninja and then a large force of water will erupt to hit the attacker. Due to the force of the water the target will be fully enveloped by the water and at its mercy as is pulls them away.
Suiton: Daibakuryuu no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Exploding Current Technique): A technique utilizing the Water Element. After doing the needed hand seals a vortex of water will form, sucking anything on the surface above it down to the depths below.
Suiton: Hahonryuu (Water Release: Destruction Torrent): A Water Element technique used by concentrating water into one's palm, then projecting and dipersing the water towards the opponent, resulting in an explosion of water towards the target.
Suiton: Suigadan (Water Release: Water Fang Projectile): A technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a string of hand seals to cause a nearby body of water to form a spinning drill.
Suiton: Suikoudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shark Projectile Technique): A technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a string of hand seals which then causes a column of water to rise from the water and then strike their target.
Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Projectile Technique): A technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target.
Suiton: Suishouha (Water Release: Water Collision Destruction) A technique utilizing the Water Element. The user does a string of hand seals which then causes a large volume of water to materialize out of nowhere. The water can then be directed at the target.
Suiton: Takitsubo no Jutsu (Water Release: Waterfall Basin Technique) A technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals to create a large volume of water.
Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique): A technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique): A technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.
Jutsu Sho (Technique Neutralize): This jutsu cancels or impedes the occurring of the opponent's technique. It uses the same amount of chakra as the jutsu it intends to cancel.
Kai (Release): A technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Signature Genjutsu
Genkaku Burizado (Illusion Blizzard): This technique gives the opponent the illusion that they are caught in a fierce blizzard. After prolonged exposure to this technique, they may develop hypothermia, as the brain believes that the area is actually cold.
Genkakuse (Illusion Torrent): This technique makes the target seem like they were drowning in deep, dark water. The target will eventually stop breathing if exposed to this technique for too long.
Signature Taijutsu
Hyouken (Ice Fist): By forming ice over certain parts of her body, Amia can utilize this unique fighting style, whose offensive and defensive power is increased dramatically due to the presence of the extremely hard ice.
In addition to these techniques, Amia can perform all E Ranked (Academy) techniques.
Weapons
Selena
Selena is the sword handed down by the royal family of the island nation Amia grew up on, and is the treasure of her people. Selena can use the chakra of it's holder to fluctuate back and forth between metal and various phases of water. After being dissolved, it can merge with other bodies of water, ice or vapor and manipulate it as well. It is possible for sections of the sword to be water while others remain metal.
Abilities
Tokeru (Dissolve): Selena's ability to change it's form from metal to a phase of water. This effect can be used with the entire blade, or just segments of it. The entire blade of Selena can dissolve to create several gallons of water.
Gyuujiru (Control): Allows the dissolved form of Selena to mix with regular water, ice or water vapor. By mixing, the extra water can be manipulated as if it were a part of Selena as well.
Kiyome (Purification): By de-ionizing and purging the water Selena is controlling of impurities, the water can become non-conductive and impervious to electricity.
Kakuchoukouga Honryuu no Heijin (Elegant Torrent of Blades): Using Selena's abilities, the user can create a whirlpool of water, flowing rapidly around the target. Once formed, segments of Selena can be reformed and fired towards the target from one wall of the whirlpool to another, an attack that can be performed many times per second.
Equipment
Blue Steel Breast Plate: A breast plate worn by Amia which provides protection against anything from projectiles to blades, and is also immune to fire by nature.
Concealed Senbon Shoes: Concealed inside each of Amia's shoes are ten Senbon needles, which can be released via a kick while clenching the toes.
Bio
Amia was born on an island just past the Easternmost border of Mist Country, where she spend the first 20 years of her life. When she was 20, a disaster befell her home and the surrounding lands. Being of royal heritage in her homeland, she felt it was her duty to help protect her home. It was then when her inheritance, he sword, Selena, came into play. Using it's power combined with her own, she was able to help defend her homeland.
After the crisis had subsided, Amia began to travel in order to strengthen herself, so that she would be more able if by chance such a crisis occurred again. She quickly found her way to Kirigakure, where she began training in the techniques of the village.
Quite some time passed, and Amia became more and more skilled, perfecting her family's Kekkei Genkai, which she learned originated in that area.
Eventually, Amia was selected to take the role of Mizukage, which she humbly accepted. Soon after being selected, she made many changes to the village, such as changing Academy graduation requirements and increasing security after the previous Kage had almost been assassinated. The village has quieted down over the years, and Amia enjoys the peace she worked so hard to achieve.
