Purpose: Members of the 6th Division are said to be the most skilled Zanpakutou users in Soul Society. They are loyal to their Captain and respect law and order above all else. The 6th Division is often trusted to carry out tasks for the 1st Division because of their fidelity. If you run into a member of the 6th Division you better hope that sword skills aren’t the only thing you have going for you, because nine times out of ten they will best you.

Description of Division: The 6th Division’s headquarters looks almost like a small Japanese castle. The back of the Division has a fairly large Japanese garden complete with cherry blossoms and a koi pond; many members come out here to relax after training. The largest room in the Division is the Zanpakutou sparring room, while the only room on the top floor, secluded from everything else, is Captain Byakuya’s chambers; he prefers to be alone much of the time.
