Purpose: The 11th Division’s members have been called many things, bloodthirsty, psychotic, rude, etc. But the simple truth is that they live for battle. It is their greatest joy to go into battle against an opponent that has a great chance of killing them. Much like the Spartans of ancient Greece, members of the 11th Division never run and never surrender. They do the most damage in large scale battles.

Description of Division: The 11th Division looks very much like a dojo, which is more or less exactly what it is. Members of the 11th Division spend most of their days training themselves physically so that when a battle arises they will be ready for it. Weapons line the walls giving members a chance to train in whatever they see fit. The largest rooms are for hand to hand combat and zanpakutou training; Captain Kenpachi spends much of his time in the latter room.
