There was a thread concerning our plans for the summer, but were the plans respected? How was your summer? Was it well spent?

I have pretty much wasted it away enjoyed mine with books, movies and randomness. Gaspesie was fun despite the storms. I've read all 9 volumes of Suzumiya Harui and watched the anime based on them. I've read Asimov's Robot Visions and novel adaptation of Constantine. I've read the first part of Phantasmagoria, but stopped when it starts to feel like a pseudo-documentary. I'm currently reading Paradise Lost, Mes amis Mes amours and Grey Matter. I've read all the Mythbusters experiences available on Wikipedia and microwave myths. Oh, I did quite much of Wikipedia surfing and even tried to surf on Uncyclopedia. Fixed some pages on Wiki. Oops, forgot to mention that I went to the Body World 2 (and Mongolian Hot Pot right after) with my friends at the beginning of summer. Failed to write anything long and good enough. Read some nice fanfics. Painted a bit. Saw some nice drawing/coloring styles and wondered if I could ever do that. Caught cold. Recovering.

My summer sounds like a reading log. xd

It's been good. The first part was hectic with my sister's wedding, which was lovely. My cousin visited from TN.My best friend invited me to Daytona for a week. I went to NC for a time, and from there, I spent a couple days with my cousins in TN. Now, I'm in Orlando. Going to Disney. smile I also finished editing my novel, and I've been reading (Besides that pesky summer reading): Dragon Queen, China Mieville's books, Crank, and now, The Beach.

So, yeah, it's been busy but lots of fun. Sigh, school starts next Thursday for me.

My summer wasn't nearly long enough XD I really want a couple more weeks of freedom, at least. But, it was mostly filled with Marching Band, lazing about, and talking to my sister about how my brother-in-law is doing (He is recovering from an injury in Iraq). So, it was kinda sad and not nearly long enough.

When do you guys go back to school? I go back the 4th of September.

It's been an amazing summer.

Went to a summer program type thing, which, I got to hang out and live with some great people, who brought me out of a depression I've been in for the better part of a year. Spent the remainder of the summer running around to different peoples' houses, staying up incredibly late, eating ramen, reading, sleeping, and writing fanfiction like a fiend. Just got a new computer which sometimes even manages to get Internet access, usually very late at night. Reconnected with myself. It's been glorious.

But now... for school. Wonderful, soul-crushing school. >_<
