Kazahaya and Rikuo. Room mates, co-workers. Something more? Has to be. While it appears that they aren't actually together in the manga, there are a few signs that show they are a lot closer than they act. This includes Rikuo's constant teasing/flirting. Could Rikuo be more god damn obvious?
I especially like when Rikuo is telling Kazahaya he is sexy, and Kazahaya says, "I'm not sexy! You're just a pervert!"
So yeah.. You get the point.
Anyway. On to the main reason of this thread. The lack of honorifics. The two are on a first name basis already. Usually only friends would call each other by their first names. But why no honorifics? It is usually considered insulting for someone to refer to you without in honorific (in Japan), unless it has been earned. That means either VERY close friends, spouses. Why? Because it shows intimacy. (Also note Watanuki and Doumeki don't use honorifics when talking to one another either. The relationship is slightly different between Rikuo and Kazahaya because they also refer to each other on a first name basis, while Watanuki and Doumeki still use each others last names.)
So, I am thinking it is safe to assume that Kazahaya and Rikuo do have some sort of intimate relationship, am I right?

Kudo-kun does have the habit of winding up in Rikuo's bed. Not to mention the saying of how the more two fight, the closer they are. smile
I believe there's something that keeps dancing around the line between relationships. From close friends to intimate, y'know? Kudo-kun simply has a guard so high he scatters about, and starts hissing, like a frightened, cornered, animal.
The biggest difference between the RikuoXKazahaya relationship and the DoumekiXWatanuki one is that Rikuo is far more open and talkative when it comes to his intentions. 3nodding Watanuki and Kazehaya are essentially in the same boat.

That's another difference xd Rukio is a lot more outwardly horny than Doumeki.
