So why do YOU love Dramione?

Well, I have several reasons... one of them is that I cannot STAND the idea of Ron being romantically involved with Hermione. I just despise Ron's attitude towards our favorite Gryffindor! Another reason is that I believe that most 'bookwormish' girls tend to go for the 'bad boy' character. Not to mention the fact that D/Hr tend to be the most civil towards one another despite house differences and the fact that they both hate the other's friends...i.e. Draco hates Harry and Ron, Hermione hates Pansy. Plus there is evidence that suggests that D/Hr is in fact plausible. Hermione is the only one who never suspects Draco of being evil. She also is the first to defend him when Harry and Ron suggest that he is evil. Draco is the only one that can challenge Hermione mentally, plus he obviously cares for her somewhat (see GoF Quidditch World Cup woods scene), at least enough to warn her of danger. Hermione also seems to care about Draco's welfare just look to Philosipher's Stone when she asks during the Forbidden Woods scene if 'THEY'RE' alright as in both Neville and Draco. Anyway, that's just my mini rant as to the many reasons why I love D/Hr...of course I forgo mentioning all the hot smex and lovin!

Eck, I will not rant about how bad Ron is for Hermione, I won't....

Uh, I figure that not only is D/Hr a possible/plausible pairing as according to canon; but I think it's a great pairing in general.

Love stories about best friends who fall in love are sweet, but boring. I like my love stories to have a little spark, some sizzle. I'd rather have two people who can't stand each other fall in love over two people who make each other blissfully happy continually.

Passion!

Hermione is intelligent. Draco is intelligent (he just messes up a ton, and from Harry's POV he's a git).

Love movies thrive on the very chemistry that Draco and Hermione create. The Notebook, she can't stand him in the beginning. A Walk to Remember they can't stand each other. Titanic same thing. I can't think of more examples but I bet there are tons!

Not to mention that Draco as a character has so many possibilities. Maybe all he needs is a stubborn, intelligent, witch to show him that he's wrong.

Finally, the possibilities of D/Hr are endless. How to get them together, is the question that causes the most creativity. It wouldn't be easy but easy is boring.

Everything above and much more are the reasons why I, Lover, support Draco/Hermione.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever why I like this pairing. But I will tell you peoples how it started:

I never like Ron all that much. I thought that because they argued so much, they hated each other. It wasn't until book 4 or 5 I realized it. Then I hated it and jumped onto the Harry/Hermione bandwagon and then realized that they, like Ron and Hermione, did not belong.

So I wanted a new OTP. And badly! So I went on the Official Harry Potter romance Guild and rummaged through a few threads and saw Draco/Hermione.

At first I was all skeptical and non- believer-ish. icon_talk2hand.gif. I thought that they hated each other just a much as Ron and Hermione did! But then I saw the Chibi pic of Draco and Hermione and went: icon_whee.gif . I LOVED it. I mean, it was adorable.

So I went on as many Draco/Hermione relating sites and fics as possible and then came to the realization; a good Dramione fic is hard to find.

I decided to write my own. I thought about it for a while and if you click my Siggy or go to the Arena in this Guild, you'll see my fic.

I have been reading essays about how Draco and Hermione are similar and how they are good together. And these were points I have read in Cannon that I've never realized before.

And since then, I've fallen in love with the pairing. I find it strange because most Dramione shippers are not huge fans of Ron's. I mean, I know he's an idiot but you name me a handful of boys who aren't!

I guess the reason why I like this pairing so much is becuase of al of the conflict in plots and characters. I mean, look! It's crawling in forbidden love! They both have to change in order to be together and they have to stick together in order to defy everyone else's opinions and their attempts to pull them apart.

In R/hr, conflict is pretty tame compared to D/Hr.

Okay, I think I've explained myself pretty well. ^_^

god, i don't even know why i like it....

i just feel like jo didn't use the potential of either character...

i think Hermione is too good for the guys in harry potter... except my lovely little Draco...

Draco has become my favorite character because i thought he was hot, and i admit that, but i have loved his character and him ever since...

Chamber of secrets is my favorite movie just because i feel it was the most well done. Draco and Hermione actually were as i imagine, and thats when i feel in love with the supposed twelve year old...

i just think that them together is well, perfect.

Because canon romances always sucks because its so cliche, seriously.
And, Draco just want to get in Hermione's pants.
Do we need any other reason?

honestly hermione deserves better than ron. draco would be better for her because he challanges her and they could actually have a conversation not about quittitch.
