I remember reading about the imprinting stuff, and I know Jacob said he didn't imprint with Bella in the begining, but do you think he was lying and he did imprint with her? Or was I not reading carefully?

Or was I not reading carefully? yes and no if you read carfuly with the others who are imprinted they are "fasanted" with their mates and if it was true with jacob he would never let bella go back to edward.

I kind of had that feeling as well, but if he had, then he wouldn't have given up easily whatsoever.

No b/c when Bella visit him when he got hurt she said something
about when the RIGHT girl will catch his eye and he said dont get ur hopes up so I dont think he imprinted with Bella he just loves her a lot like Sam and Leah

Ive been thinking about that for a long time as well and all that we can do it hypothesis until enough people ask Stephenie that question and she answers.
I don't really have a solid opinion because I talk myself in circles trying to figure it out. I kinda figured that there had to be a reason for why Stephnie brought up imprinting, something to do with the plot. But what reason would he have for saying no, they weren't imprinted?
But he also says that all he sees when he closes his eyes is Bella, and everyone gets irritated because of it.
But I think that, in the end, he would have said that they were imprinted as one final push for her to go with him.
As you can see, I really have no idea. I'm kinda thinking that maybe there is a chance that they are imprinted.. but then I'm half expecting him to come back in the next book with someone that he has.
One last point xD He also said that it's like they were meant for each other, that when you are imprinted it's like you were made for each other. However, Bella does say how she hates the annoying part of Jacob... so I don't know! xD

Id Jacob comes back in the next book I believe to be the final in the series (not sure yet) I doubt stephanie would leave jacob lonely, so Im sure hell find someone to imprint on when bella and eduward get married.

yea i was wondering the same thing sweatdrop but I don't think he imprinted her cuz well there would be no way he'd let her go.....or does he love her enough to want her to be happy....??????

he said he didnt imprint with her because she was the only one he saw so, its basically as good as...

If I had to guess, I would say that Jacob DID imprint with Bella. I may not be right, but I just have a feeling that the way he gave her up only proves that he didn't want to hurt he (becausse he can see that taking her from Edward has and will hurt her) and thats why he didn't tell her. Like with the king soloman thing, i'm sure it was for her that he didn't say anything. Except now i'm really worried hes not going to come back, and he will stay in wolf form forever. You know because of the last page in the book when he was thinking about it? Jacob has seriously worried me. And im going to die before breaking dawn comes out because I can't stop rereading the 3 books over and i'm not getting any sleep sad . Sorry for the rambling...but you have my opinion...

No I do not think he did because I think he would have really told Bella that he imprinted her, and I do not think Bella would go for that.

i knd of thought that at first but if he was then she wouldn't be able to leave him. like how Emily can't leave Sam. it's for both of them he can't be imprinted on her and her not on him.
