I went to see the DCI World Championship quarterfinals at a local theater, and was wondering if anyone else saw it? If you missed it, you can go to the DCI site here can catch you up. Also, did you see the season's most controversial program? I found the Cadet's field show's narration to be distracting and annoying, but others in the theater loved it. I went and saw it live in Pasedena! It was so much fun! Me and my sister and best friend went together with my mom. My favorites were the Blue Devils then the Cavaliers then the Cadets. Were going to pre-order finals on DVD for like 140 dollars for all 22 DC's and the top 12 soundtrack.
About the Cadets though, I think the reason I liked it so much was because my guard does not work together at all, we are litrally torn in half. Half the guard hates the other half. anyway, I thought that our guard should have seen that preformance on working together to get things done, and done right.

I can't remember which core did the Criminal show, but I loved that one, and thought the Boston Crusaders' Picasso show was ingenious. whee yep I saw it live it was soooo cool!!!! It was the Bluecoats that did Criminal, I loved it too! I thought that one was really cool, 'specially since this year my hs is doinmg painting by numbers and I really wanted to show my guard that one. My family is going to buy finals with all 22 DC's with the top 12 soundtrack, its going to be 140$! Im going to start saving so I can help my parents buy it. : ) We got the 2007 Summer Music Games Mid-season DVD though at the competion, and it has the Carolina Crown, Blue Knights, Santa Clara Vanguard, Bluecoats, Phantom Regiment, Blue Devils, The Cadets and The Cavaliers shows mid-season. So its not finals, but its their same shows. : )

I didn't see it, I was too poor to drive an hour and spend $15 to watch what will be showing on ESPN soon anyways. But we got let out of band camp three hours early so that the people who wanted to could go watch.

I wanted to go see it, but tickets were too expensive, and I wasn't able to make it to the movie theater crying . But 3 people in my guard went and saw it Live. Everyone else in guard who didn't go (everyone that knew what DCI was) was jealous of them.

God, what I wouldnt give to be in DCI....... my moms best friend told me they hold the semi finals at her high school!!!!! I was so jealous.
