Imagine living your favorite book.

What if you were to base your life upon your favorite book? What would happen? How would you bring it about? Who would you use for certain characters? This is a roleplay that forces you to design your life around your favorite book.

Rules

1. You can't continue to book or anything like that. Remember, this is you trying to bring about the book within your own life. In other words, you can't add the characters to your life--they aren't part of it.

2. This is an example of what I'm trying to do
Say the book you want to base your life off of is Harry Potter. No, you can not add your own characters to the book. You're trying to incorperate the story into your life. You're still normal you, you're just trying to be a wizard/witch in today's society.

3. No one can add anything to your role-play. If you want it to be Lord Of The Rings, nobody can come in and add Harry Potter. What is done with the character/story is totally up to the original author of the character. In other words, you're on your own.

4. Please, keep cursing to a minimum (though I don't see a need for any at all).

5. You can use a book that somebody is already using.

I'll add more later.

Example.

Say we're doing Snow White. The first thing you'd want to do is assign characters. So you'd find a person to fit the positions of the dwarfs/prince/queen in your life. For example, your brother/sister could be the queen. Once you've got the characters mapped out, it's really about planning out how to live the life of Snow White, like, how you're going to fall into a "deep sleep"; and how you'll make sure your prince is the one who kisses you.

"And so, Cinderella and Prince Charming lived happily ever after.”

Ryn snapped the book shut, setting it aside on her bed as she leaned back against the headboard. Why couldn’t her life be like that? Have a happy ending and all? Instead she was stuck in the middle of nowhere New Jersey, attending a small school and living twenty minutes from any sort of shopping area. She sighed and so her story began.

Ok, so maybe it's impossible for me to kill off my dad, but is it really that hard to find an obsessive, smart boyfriend to break up with me and a hot guy to fall for me in my life? The answer, yes. To be frank, my life is about as filled with guys as math is with Hamlet. In other words, my life is completely bland. I know it's probably my fault that my life is what it is, but now that's all about to change. I'm finally taking my life into my own hands.

Alright, some of the things in making my life like the book I've already taken care of. First off, I don't need to find a sudden obsession with being perfect, I already have it. Then, my friends already know how to have fun (they just don't drink...), so I think I'm covered. So now we come to the present issues at hand.
1. Need a super smart boyfriend to dump me--Search at library=P

2. Find a job that has human contact--Search want adds

3. Find boy at job to like me--Work on it once I have the job

4. Have my mother go on a nervous breakdown path--I'll figure that out later

5. I'll figure out the rest later.

"Ryn!" Her mother bellowed across the house. "Ryn come here right now!"

Ryn sighed and pushed herself up and off her bed. Striding over to her door she paused with her hand on the doorknob.

"NOW!"

Ryn shrugged, that had been worth the wait she decided. Exiting her room, she quietly pulled her door shut and strolled to the other side of her house, meeting her mother just outside the laundry room.

"Yes?" She inquired.

"I've been waiting for the past two days to do laundry," her mother began. "And I can't because I've been waiting to give you the chance to do your loads. Now, get your stuff out of the dryer so I can start my wash."

Ryn glanced at her small pile within the dryer and grabbed the wash basket from the shelf. Choosing to stay silent, having learned that that was best because then she wouldn't, couldn't provoke her mother into an arguement, Ryn quickly scuttled back to her room, merely dropping the basket on the floor before her bed. She hated chores.

"I can't believe I'm doing this," I thought as I walked up to the perfect boyfriend the next day.

"Hey, Mason!" I greeted as I walked into the lunch room.

"Hey! What's up?" he replied.

"Nothing really. You?"

"Nothing. Hey, a couple of my friends and I are gonna go to the coffeeshop this weekend for some poetry reading, wanna come?"

"Yeah. I'd love to."

Geez. He really was perfect. Maybe it'd be harder than I thought to let him go...
