Amour stood at the bottom of a set of stairs, leaning against a wall. She had a messanger bag across her shoulders. She stood with her hands at the front, holding a book in her hands. Looking around, her eyes followed the great steps, where it led to a grand opening. Above the door, it said 'Library'. She watched as other people entered the building with a dome center. She watched and waited.

Maverick felt bored. For some reason he didn't feel like lounging around snoozing, or playing around on his computer or video games. For today, he felt like going to the library. When he wasn't busy playing his games and whatnot, he'd think it would be nice sometimes to stop by at the library and read. He mostly read comics, but he'd also try to get himself into a novel once in a while. As he came up closer to the steps, he noticed someone familiar, "Hey, isn't that..?" He asked aloud to himself, and walked up abit closer, his pace fastening the more sure he knew who was up ahead, "Amour! Amour! Hey!" He said excitedly, waving towards her. He always seemed overly happy seeing Amour

Amour heard her name being called, and looked left and right. She noticed a waving arm, and looked closer. It was Maverick! Her heart skipped a beat while she waved back. "Hey Maverick! What a coincidence to see you here!" There was a large smile on her face. She didn't know why, but she liked to be with Maverick. It was just... fun! She held the book a little firmer than she needed to. A little bit of red came upon her cheeks when she saw that Maverick was almost infront of her.

Maverick felt a big smile creep on his face as he had a sudden surge of positive energy thrust through his entire body as he saw Amour. When he made it to her, he for a moment her leaned over, gaining support from falling over by placing his hands on his knees, as he was panting, then got up and replied to Amour, " Heh! I'll say!" He chuckled, "I didn't have much to do around the house and decided to hang around at the library? And what brings you here?" He asked with full curiosity

She saw her panting friend and patted him on the head. "Calm down a little," she said with a giggle. "I was hoping to return this cookbook, but then I thought about it and wondered if there was anything else I wanted to make." She flipped through the pages again and the looked at the library door. "Might as well return it and get another one. There has to more to cook!" Again, Amour looked at the panting Maverick and giggled at him. Poor guy... he must be tired... He could of walked because she wasn't going to go anywhere but the library.

Maverick felt pink as he heard her giggling, and gave her a reassuring smile, "Aww, don't worry, I'll be fine. Just some relaxing and walking and I'll be spiffy again!" He nodded as he listened to Amour's explanation on how she came, "Ooo, I see," He said, licking his lips, "How is the food baking going btw? Doing better than ever I'd guess." He wanted to have a moment of talking with Amour outside before entering into the Library

"It's going wonderful! I learned how to make the most wondrous strawberry cake. It's all fluffy and such. I should bring you some sometime." Amour smiled blushing. "How are you doing today?" She looked up again at the library door, but decided that she wasn't ready to go in yet. You have to be quiet in the library, and she wasn't ready to with Maverick here.

"Mmm, Fluffy, huh? Sounds fantastic! I'd love you to bring me some!" He said excitedly. "Oh! Uh, me?" He said, suddenly feelish sheepish. He scratched the back of his head, "Heheh, well, I've been good. So has the family, heheh. I've been, wondering how you've been doing" He said, chuckling abit. When he didn't have much to do but think, he'd often think about Amour, and the sweets she'd tend to being and share with him.

Amour smiled. "I've been wonderful! Its a lot of fun with Meesha and Violette around!" She thought off all the things they did together. Sometimes Violette would have a little attitude problem, but over all, she was good. They baked and did a lot of things together. Amour thought, and she noticed that she really wanted to do something with Maverick and Maverick alone. "After the library, we could always go out and get a snack..."

"Oh? That's cool!" He said, now thinking about his brother and sister, Aries and Clover. He always seemed to stuff around them only. It felt kinda good to do something with another Poneko for a change. It felt especially great to share some time with Amour, "Really?" He asked, feeling abit pink, happy on the offer. 'Kinda like a date?' He wondered on his mind. It was odd though, he never thought about that stuff normally. Blinking the thought away, he continued, "That sounds great! I'd love to accept that offer!" He said, placing a foot on the first step of the stairs, as if preparing to make his way up the library now, "Do you know any great places?" He asked curiously, and kept his foot on the first step of the stairs, patiently waiting for her.

Amour looked down, not wanting Maverick to see her flushing face. She saw the book in her hands. She almost forgot to return it. "How about we return the book, get a new one, and then take a walk around town to see if there was anything interesting to eat." She looked at Maverick, ready to go up. She started going up and when she was next to Maverick, she shyly went for Maverick's hand. They were face to face, and she blushed. "Ready to go in?"

Maverick blinked at Amour curiously when she looked down, waiting intently for what she had in mind. "Hmm.." He said as he swished his tail care-free, "I think that sounds like a good idea" He nodded, "I'm game!" he gave a sweet smile towards her as he saw her catching up with his steps.
'Huh?' He blinked, feeling touch towards his fingers, and looked down, noticing Amour's hand with his. He felt abit warm. He wondered if maybe it was just the heat outside. His eyes ventured around for a moment and landed on Amour, who he realized was facing him as he did in turn. He felt red in the cheeks with embarrasment. Gulping and attempting to make a calm and cool smile, which only ended up looking goofy, he replied, "Heheh, sure.." He said, unawaringly his hand took grasp of hers in return.

She used her free hand to feel her forehead. "Why does it seem to be unusually hot," she thought. She wasn't coming up with a fever... She knew it was Maverick. There was just something about him that made Amour love to be around him. She loved his smile, though to others it may look a little goofy.
Maverick took the lead up, and she followed closely by him. "Hm... Maybe this is what those soap operas call 'chemistry'," she thought. She looked at Maverick and felt her heart skip a beat. "You don't mind me finding a new cookbook after returning this one, right?"

Maverick pondered on it. A new cookbook equaled new recipes, and new recipes meant new foods to try out, and that got him feeling hungry..
Maverick's smile grew wide as he answered, "Not a problem at all!" He said cheerily, a small giggle ended his reply. He was feeling really happy all of a sudden. 'Probably thinking about sweets; Or was it the time he was going to spend with Amour? At that moment when her name hit his mind he seemed to all of a sudden feel like he had something stuck in the middle of his throat and he had to gulp the feeling down. Meanwhile he resumed slowly up the steps, "Heh, I can help you look for a cookbook too if you'd like~!"

Amour was happy. She knew that she would cook anything for Maverick, and she also knew that she would poor her heart out making everything perfect. "Maybe you can pick it out," she exclaimed. "With something you like inside of that cookbook!" Amour took a few couple steps and used both hands to tug Maverick in a playful manner. "Lets go," she exclaimed with great excitement. They had to be quiet in the library, but Amour wanted to know everything she could about Maverick. What he liked to eat, what he didn't. She wanted to know him just like people around him more often did.
