Discuss the tragically non-canon cuteness. whee
I had never played a Dragon Quest game before 8, but I'm seriously in love now. It's fun and looks awesome and the characters. OH MAN, THE CHARACTERS. Much love for everyone, except maybe for Angelo, who sometimes annoys me (I just don't like those man whore playboy types. >.<) I know Medea is the Hero's TRU LUV and all but...I just can't get into it. I mean, she was a horse for almost the entire game. Jessica, on the other hand, was human and cute and spunky and doesn't take crap from people, which makes her wonderful. And I love that she started calling the hero 'Guv.' whee And she did seem to care for him, and he looked out for her too. And sometimes she seemed to think of his as more than a friend (especially after she was possesed and smiled so sweetly at him and told him that he was a pretty nice guy after all.) And she deserves better than Angelo, who I really only like when he's fighting/having a flashback/trying to bond with Marcello. Was their interaction the best part of the game or the best part of the game?
....anyway. It doesn't happen, but it's still fun. 3nodding
