OK, I've been dying to know, what is the answer to the riddle in the song "the union forever"? I have a few guesses, but I'd like to know for sure.

I assumed, since the song is about Citizen Kane, that the movie had an answer to that. But, I've never seen the film, so I wouldn't know.

The entire song is composed of quotes from Citizen Kane. The verse of the riddle is a song that was written by a lyricist that Kane's newspaper had hired, to acclaim Kane. The answer to the riddle is Charles Kane, who is portrayed by Orson Welles.
