So I was introduced to a book No Plot No Problem earlier this year and figured I would pass this on to everyone to see if they were interested in it or already involved.

Every Novemeber hundreds of thousands of people around the world spend 30 days writing furiously to complete 50,000 words of their first draft for a novel.

Oh my...30 days? I would keep pestering myself if I didn't get one line up to standard. They'd have to have a pretty good idea what they were writing about in the first place to have it up that quickly (Or perhaps not...). I'd rather stick to my procedure. If I ever would write a novel I'd like to keep track of my details and savor a line in all its glory.

Deadlines...of course. They keep me in shape too. For educational reasons, more specifically. At home I tend to flounder a bit...

Well the 50,000 words is only the first draft no one can make it perfect and sometimes its about not knowing what happens next. But everyone has their way. For students its hard to do the Nov thing Im just introducing the idea. I will probably be forming a group to try this in January.
