Ok, so we've gotten a few new users....but both old and new Otaku Lounge members are slacking off as far as posting goes. So, in hopes to bring this guild back from the dead I decided to make this topic.
I know many of you are still high school age or younger, some of us college age or older crying 5th year of college comming up there...so old! Anyway! You guys are bound to have done something during your summer breaks whether it be summer school, a trip somewhere, new hobby, what have you. So go ahead and feel free to share with everyone what you've been doing!

All Ive done this summer for the most part is work....prepared for AX in June, went to AX, came back, worked worked worked....hopefully lll get some stuff done before I go back to school. Oh, I also picked up the Harry Potter series again. Almost done with book 2! I wanna get through book 4 before I go back to school ^_^

This summer I also went to AX and CatNapCaps and I both went to Little Tokyo together in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago. My friends and I went to Knott's Berry Farm briefly using some free tickets we got. We ended up hanging out there for a couple hours before leaving for lunch and then feeling too full and uninterested in going back. Kind of lame of us, I know. sweatdrop
Other than that, I've gotten back into gaming on my computer. I started playing Tropico 2 again, which is a very fun little strategy/simulator game where you're a pirate lord trying to build up your pirate island. My friends and I have also started playing Diablo 2 again. This'll be my third or fourth time playing through it. It's a great game that stands the test of time.
I've been listening to the audio book of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and will be finishing that up soon. I've also been reading manga more this summer than ever, I'd say. I've read through Yotsuba vol. 1, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi vol. 1 (halfway through vol. 2) and Hellsing vol. 5. I also read some of the manga samplers I got at AX.
I did get my new computer this summer just before AX and I got new 5.1 surround sound speakers for my computer just a month ago. I'd say this summer has gone pretty well. I'm planning to make a trip to Disneyland soon and hopefully have a BBQ with my friends before summer is officially over. My birthday is coming up early September so hopefully I'll have a fun little party and get some neat things. 3nodding
