Hey guys, I have a few concerns concerning the build of my coon. I'm very new to this game, and the guides I find are very confusing. I was hoping someone can shed a little light on the whole build thing because, quite honestly, I'd hate to make a mistake early on in the game and end of not being able to survive at later levels. So if anyone can offer assistance, I'd be most appreciative of.

well,i made a coon till lvl 80,then i switched back to my lvl 112 lion. anyway, the most important build a coon should be is 4114, or 4-power,1-magic,1-sense,4-charm.That is the most commonly used build and the best for beginers. Now theres 2 ways a coon can go,AP coon,or HV coon.Ap coon may be faster to lvl up but they need a lot of skills to help lvl up,while hv coons need less skills and take a while to lvl up. The best part about a hv coon is that most of the skills are based off of hv,so becoming a hv coon helps bring out the most of your skills.Plus in your higher lvls,hv coons become nearly invincible in PvP,nearly.Ap coon is more or less for regular fighting and there ok in pvp, while i recomend hv if ur into pvp and owning blaugh .So if u want to be ap,put all ur bonus points in ap,if hv,all into hv.If u want,i can tell you what skills to get, just pm me,or i can just post here to help other coons i guess.I dunno if this helps or not sweatdrop

Well, this will prolly just confuse you more, but here's what I did:
Build: 2224 - Everything is averaged out, and the 4 is locked on Charm. My hitting (normal) is not as powerful as a 4114 AP raccoon, but more powerful than an HV one. If you ever run out of MP or potions, this can save your neck. My skill hits (Power Blow and Card Strike) are almost as powerful as a "pure" build. Also, because of the extra point in Sense and Magic, I can haul more stuff, and go a little longer without using potions. I also pull off critical hits more often. The main drawback to this build is that it will be relatively slow to level until you hit about level 50-60. But then watch out! You can start taking on enemies 2 to 3 times your level at that point. So patience is needed for this build.
I spread the points in a 3/1 HV/AP split. This means every level the bonus points go to HV, while every fourth level they go to AP. The way you distribute points may be more important than your build. Every so often you may want to throw some points to WT, so you can haul a few more pots or something.
So far I've been happy with my raccoon. He's intended for survivability and long hauls, but takes a bit longer than others to kill things. But - Slow and Steady, as they say... smile

But - Slow and Steady, as they say... smile lol some people would kinda say thats like a messed up coon.. lol it sounds like a hybrid in alot of ways... lol o_0 well i dont suggest the 2224 build or ANY build where the 4 is locked and the rest is 2.. cus.. it sucks.. lol cus like some things you just really dont need.. like for charms.. it seems that they dont use skills much considering the cooltime and the amount of mp it takes.. and technically the only skill with a low cool time would probably be like galder thrower.. which you probably dont wanna you all that much.. so the whole problem of mp is out, so you technically dont need a 2 in magic.. a 1 would be fine.. and weight problems can be easily fixed with some pocket pouches.. and da.. well i dont know about you but i'd just make a fox to drill everything for me... and... luck.. crits can be useful but not nessecary... so you technically dont need a 2 in sense either.. and yeah.. if you had a 1 in power and you werent a magic i'd be kinda weirded out.. unless you were like a fox... well i think they still ned ap.. so yeah 4114 build.. and i know nothing about skills. just dont use galder thrower too much... biggrin
