Hear Ye, Hear Ye...
This is a game where we pool all of our collective coolness together and grow together as a community! exclaim
I was in the Sunday School Discussion Room (more of you should go there and share your wisdom with the rest of us!) and we were discussing Favorite Temples. After reading KK's remarks and posting a new one, I had a great idea . Let's list all of the temples that we've been to and see how long of a list we can make. As an individual, it would be short, but as a group, it would be long!!!
We'll establish two lists for the temples: 1. Been Inside and 2. Been On The Grounds. If you've been in one, you would list that temple on both lists. I don't think you could make it in one and not be on the grounds. question
After I list them, just copy my list, or after the next post, just copy the list of the person before you.
Make sure that after you add your name, you add to the number of people listed for that temple. This way, we can see which temple we've all been to the most. Also, it helps that we're all from different parts of the country. It will make our list better. 3nodding
For example, I list this
1 - Los Angeles - Snaksie
1 - Redlands - Snaksie
Then, if KK listed next and he had been only been inside the LA temple and Orlando, he would list this
2 - Los Angeles - Snaksie, KK
1 - Redlands - Snaksie
1 - Orlando - KK
(I only bolded the changes for this example. Don't bold your additions. rolleyes )
See how he changes the number at the beginning to reflect how many had been there, and then added a new temple with his name? So with everone listing, our numbers should get bigger and the list should get longer. You can put whatever name you want for yourself. KK can write Kingdom Keeper and Babs could write her entire 24 letter name if she wants. biggrin
This might inspire some of us to go to a new temple just so we can add that temples list. KK, you'll have to cover Florida, cuz I can't make it to any of those. wink If you forget one that you've been to, you can always come back and add your name for that one. After you go to a new one, do the same.
One last note.. When you post yours, keep the size of the lists at "size=18" so that the list show up well. I think if you just copy and paste, it will go back to size 12. So, if it does fo to the smaller size, use the size button and make the list "large." Thanks. whee

Ok, maybe I don't explain things so well. I'm trying my best. So, what you do is copy both of the lists and paste them in your reply window. Then you add the temples you have been in and on the grounds. Then you change the number for the ones that are already listed.
So, based on the two new posts, I think it should look like this...

Ok, now I just saw in the Bishop's office that someone in this guild has been to the AZ temple. Oh wait, it's actually called after a city in AZ, but she said everyone outside of AZ calls it the AZ Temple and I guess I just proved her right.
Anyhoo, we need her to come and add her temple to the list! Please, do us UT and CA people have to do everything? xd
