THE GAIAN ASEXUALITY GUILD

Welcome to the Asexuality Guild. This is a place where asexuals and others of different orientations who are curious about asexuality, can come help support and spread the word about this rare orientation and hang out. Asexuality is the fourth sexuality, after heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. It is also very uncommon in most populations on Earth: only 1% - 2% of people on average are asexual. So it is important to make asexuality noticed amongst not only the youth of Gaia, but the rest of the world, your family, your friends, your colleagues... Our goal is to inform everyone, and to support individuals who soon discover that they are asexual and that they are not alone. Welcome to the guild of Amoebae.

GUILD OUTLOOK

The Asexuality Guild is not only meant to entertain the members and to support them and their sexuality. Asexuality is scarely heard of, and this guild must make that change here in Gaia, and hopefully someday, outside this site. So here are some goals in which the guild will try and achieve as it develops.

1. Supporting Members successfully
2. Supporting Potential Members and Asexuals successfully
3. Getting Gaia entirely aware of this guild and Asexuality
4. Getting Gaians understand and accept Asexuality
5. Educate Gaian Population about Asexuality
6. Make the Guild fun, interactive, and creative in many aspects to all: members and non-members.
7. Oppourtunities are created where groups of different sexual orientations mix and hang out.
8. Encouraging Gaians to tell their friends and family about Asexuality, therefore, spreading the word to the outside world
9. Establishing a good reputation of the guild in Gaia and it''s beliefs of open mindedness about sexual issues and new topics.

GUILD RULES & BASICS

0. You must read all the rules. Because I spent so much time making them! :3

1. What isn't allowed:

- No Spamming or Advertisements. This is not a Chatterbox.
- No Cybering or Pornographic Images
- Poor Grammar and Spelling [speak Englais!]
- No insults based on sexual orientation or otherwise!
- No links to sites that have adult content
- No trolling or trying to get everyone's attention
- No topics that would be offensive to anyone. If you can't tell the difference, then just don't post them.
- No excess violence
- No fighting: take it to the PMs. This is a place where members want to be around a peaceful crowd like them.

2. What is allowed:

- Sexual topics with relevance to Asexuality
- Sexual topics with relevance to sexual education and connections to modern society
- Topics unrelated to Asexuality, just for fun.
- Swearing

3. If you want to leave the guild, please inform me by PM first.

4. Any member has the right to say their opinions on the guild, make suggestions to improve the guild, and criticize the guild, so long as it does not offend anyone or asexuality itself.

5. Be kind and helpful to new members please. They are the people who will support the guild and help develop it in the future.

6. If a member isn't at all educated on the subject of asexuality, and they are offensive in some way without knowing, please let one of the crewmembers or the captain deal with the issue. Nah, you don't need to let the crew members and the captain know. Friendly reminders won't hurt.

7. If a member finds another member harassing asexuals, asexuality, outside the guild, they should report it immediately to the captain or the crew members of the guild. This includes if the member is mocking some form of the guild or another.

8. If a member finds another member is giving false information about asexuality or the guild outside the guild or inside, they must report that member immediately. Whoa! I think Nironia had "intentionally false" information in mind; once again, a friendly reminder won't hurt.

9. If a member finds another member trolling about the fact that they are asexual and expressing superiority of being asexual outside of the guild, they must report them immediately.

10. All rules of 6 - 10 should be followed accordingly, or else the member who neglects her or his duties shall be punished as equally as the members who break these rules.

11. Punishments:

- All punishments are taken out by myself, Nironia the captain
- Serious offences such as pornographic spamming, breakages of rules 4, 7 - 10, may result in being banned from the guild.
- Serious offences may be justified by the members status in the guild and oppourtunities and allowances to be taken away permenantly.
- Minor offences may be punished by taking away member's status, oppourtunities, and allowances temporarily.
- Offensive threads will be locked and then deleted immediately, and all information shall be lost on them. All "punishments" will be dealt by me. Hah, "punishments." Honestly, no one here will break any rules, but rest assured, I can be nasty when I need to be. Nironia is waaay too serious. The new leader Mikusagi kicks you out if your bad mad

12. Rules may be changed accordingly over time. It would be good to check over them once in a while to see if anything has changed.

ASEXUALITY DEFINITION AND INFORMATION

ASEXUALITY = A sexuality whereby a person experiences no sexual attraction, and/or sexual drive.
ASEXUAL = One who is indifferent to sex and lacks sexual feelings.

It's a repeat of what's on the home page. Remember that an asexual and a celibate are different. The former lacks sexual attraction while the latter resists existing sexual attraction.
