This would be the place to post the descriptions for any wildlife that you may have thought up. No need to approve anything with me. Just post whatever wild and crazy idea you have.
Just include its basic description and where it can be found.

Here's a form for people, in case it helps! n-n

Intelligence and lifestyle:
Name: Monscelobos Commonly called: Stone Buffalo Family: Saubovae (Big reptilian bovines. Imagine cold-blooded goats and horses with certain reptilian features. No, they are not carnivores, but can do some real bloody damange if you get into a fight with them xD) Habitat: Forests and mountains in Heimdall Numbers/reproduction: Rare- a total, very dispersed population of about 100. Usually, that should mean close to extinction for an animal, but Monscebolos can live up to 500 years old and never fail to mate at least once during that lifetime, giving birth to up to three young ones at a time. Their population is unlikely to grow, but will keep stable. Predators:: None Food: The roots and cores of certain small trees.
Picture/description: (the big guy below. :3)
Imagine a huge and virtually indestructible dragonlike beast of gray stone full of dirt and moss. The adults are nearly a hundred time the size of the babies when they are born.
Intelligence and lifestyle: Monscebolos, or Stone Buffalo, may have incredibly long lives, but they spend most of it sleeping. They hibernate for about 5 years, and then spend a brief period searching for food or mates, and then sleep more. The longest time they stay awake (and are not living solitary lives) is when they are raising children for about ten years. When they are hibernating, you cannot find them- they will be sleeping on a rocky mountainside somewhere, perfectly camouflaged. You cannot wake them, and their hide is as hard as what it looks like- stone. xD They are not fearful creatures, being completely pacifistic in nature, and you can probably walk right up to one that is eating without danger. And even grab its food from right beneath its snout. It won't do anything. Except if you're threatening its children, in which case it might attempt to trample you. Or hunting. For some reason, they react badly to seeing creatures killed, so large predators will always stay away from them- so if a traveler in Heimdall happens to find one, they should follow it as long as they can on their trail if they want to avoid the big sharp teeth of the other forest beasties. Stone Buffaloes are not of an extremely high intelligence, about as smart as a... well, buffalo. 8D;;

I wanted to give Jikrae's Kingdom some internal problems to work on, so...I'm posting this here, even though it probably won't come up until Chapter 3 or 4.
Name: Kirunian Watchers
Commonly called: Stalkers
Family: Humanoid (Believed to be non-sentient, but they still resemble slender, lanky Humans)
Habitat: Mountainous Caverns
Numbers/reproduction: There are believed to be just a small handful of these creatures living in the Kirunian Mountains, and it is not believed that they are capable of reproduction. However, they seem quite impervious to many forms of physical harm, and do not seem to die of age as far as can be told.
Predators:: None Known
Food: Any form of meat that they come across, including Humans, animals, and raw meat.
Picture/description: Based on what has been seen of the beasts, they stand anywhere from seven to nine feet tall, are bipedal, and have two long arms with human hands. If their skin color and texture can be compared to anything, it is darkness, for on the rare occasion that the creatures are cast in a light, they resemble shadows cast against a wall, the ceiling, or the ground. Their movements are fluid and bouncy, almost as though they are made of gelatin, and very few Humans have hearing acute enough to hear them approaching. They have a solid form, capable of being attacked and hurt, but the blood-freezing fear that they instill in their victims usually prevents such an event.
They are called Kirunian Watchers because they have a tendency to watch over and guard crucial parts of the Mountain. Entire herds of animals have been found slaughtered, when they might have caused an avalanche if they had been left alive. They viciously protect the caverns that they live in, but rarely venture further into the Kirunian mines and homes. When they do decide to leave their territory, however, they can lay in wait for hours at a time, standing perfectly still, waiting for the opportune moment to strike at a victim with sharpened rocks or weapons they have stolen from the Kirunians.
Intelligence and lifestyle: The Watchers are not considered to be sentient. Though they are extremely intelligent, they seem primarily driven by primal urges and haphazard guerrilla tactics. Their lifestyle has never been observed because anyone or anything that dares to venture into their territory is quickly incapacitated or killed. They seem to fear no creature or individual, and often put up powerful fights against beings that should be able to kill them easily. If even slightly wounded, they will often flee, as though even a tiny cut poses a serious threat to their lives. Despite that, they are incredibly efficient killers, and will rarely sustain any damage in a fight. However, they are a vindictive race, and it is not beyond them to sneak into Kirunian Dormitories in order to murder one individual who harmed them and then leave without touching another.
Contact: To be Updated as the Watchers are dealt with in the story. This will deal with diplomatic and military interactions with them.

Scientific Name: Panthera Ignis Commonly called: Firelion Family: Panthera Habitat: Firebrand Savanna Numbers/reproduction: Perhaps a dozen prides containing up to 5 lions each. They reproduce surprisingly fast, as they mate up to 4-6 times during their lifetime with no restrictions. Predators:: For unknown reasons, the mammoth elephants of Firebrand are extremely aggressive towards Firelions and will attack them on sight. Food: Most anything that is smaller than them.
Picture/description: As their name obviously implies, they are a rather strange offshoot of a normal lion. Standing much larger, coming to eye-level of a grown man even when on all fours, these beasts seem to have come straight out of Ember's dreams. If Ember did dream, of course.
Their short coarse fur is blood red with a dark skin tone beneath. The females have three tails, each tip of which is a strangely burning flame. The males have only one flaming tail, yet the hairs of their manes seem to be little fires themselves. Each long hair seems to glow a bright gold, red, and white; sometimes alternating colors all the way down to the base. The whiskers of both male and female share the same effect as the mane. Yet, one of their most intriguing features are the designs that present themselves on their fur.
On each lion's fur there are distinct symbols and images that differ from lion to lion. These are made from their very fur itself. Streaks of white hair seem almost to be painted on their dark red fur in what can best be described as tribal tattoos.
Aside from the strange designs, there is little variation in appearance from one to the next. Some males have darker-colored manes with a bushier appearance, some have quite the opposite.
Intelligence and lifestyle: Panthera Ignis are extremely predatory and love nothing more than to hunt. During the many dry months of Firebrand, these beasts stalk the high grass and feast on their prey almost non-stop. Though their strange fur would lead one to believe them extremely poor at concealing themselves, they rely almost totally on the high dry grass to hide themselves(their tail-flames DO burn, and have been known to cause huge brush fires when careless) when on the prowl. Able to run down most everything else living in the area, they need only to have the slight jump of surprise the grass gives them.
Firelions hate the water and seem to be able to live without the need of it at all. So during the short wet season the Firelions go into deep seclusion and will not be seen unless some time has passed for everything to dry up again.
Ember has forbid the hunting of Firelions and has made them, essentially, the national animal of Firebrand. The people of Hearth worship them accordingly, and Firelions have been known to wander into the streets of the town on occasion as Ember's people bow on their knees as they walk past.

Name: Silver Rammule Commonly called: Messenger Goats Family: Horses Habitat: Mountainous or forested regions. They prefer cold weather to warm so they are usually in more temperate areas. Numbers/reproduction: Their population is currently on the rise, herds of them are increasingly common in all areas. Predators: Jackels, Cats, etc. Food: Grasses, oats, leaves, etc.
Picture/description: The Silver Rammule most closely resembles and enormous ram. They stand anywhere from 6-7 feet tall when they are on all fours, although the Bull of the pack is usually quite a bit larger. Their fur ranges from dark gray to white, and they almost always have round horns that curve around the sides of their heads elegantly. Their ridged horns can be used as weapons and their heavy hooves and powerful bodies make them ideal mounts for heavy cavalry. Their fur is thick and closely coiled, resembling slightly more downy wool.
Intelligence and lifestyle: The Silver Rammule moves in large packs or herds, especially when venturing out into planar regions. They are fiercely competitive creatures during the mating season but at other times they can be docile and friendly. They aren't skittish, if threatened they will attack with full force and will only submit if beaten in a contest of strength. They are about as intelligent as normal horses, perhaps a bit more so and are capable of solving simple problems.

Name: OnyErona Commonly called: Sand Backs Family (example: felines, canids, etc.): Crustatian Habitat: Near the Firebrand and Kirunian Border Numbers/reproduction: Reproduction of these creatures is rather easy as the females lay thousands of eggs in thier nest, which usually are small pockets or dens dug out under the sand. The only problem are babies when born are not the tan color of the sand but dark, almost blakish so when they come to surface they stick out and easily picked off by all sorts of creatures. Predators:: Desert Prowlers and stalkers for the mountain variety called Rock tops. Food: Devouring the roots of either cacti or any other indegenous desert plant life. Also scavenging off the bodies of dead or picking at dying creatures. The moisture stored from these are what allow for thier eggs, and to keep their bodies moist in the heat of the desert.
Picture/description: The top of the body is flat and orugh to the touch, tiny spekcs of pigmentation that very in color from dark brown to almost pure white, this variety of color being an attempt to mimic the sand itself. Its claws are as so, large crushing claws, with sharp blade like tips This for allowing them to slice through flesh and tendoins and the large vice like grips to crush throug bones and the shells of other creatures.
Intelligence and lifestyle:Gentle scavengers in an attempt to hunt or hide these creatures settle and push the sand away buring themselves slightly below the surface of the sand. This is either where they will n** at a passing by creature or attack another sand back. Extremly territorial they will attack at another creature when their den or nest are in danger.

Yes, Laeray has beasts/monsters. you won't want to be caught by this plant. wink
Name: Icatopas Insectivorous Commonly called: Hidden Killers Family: Insectivorous (Carnivorous) plants Habitat: Northern areas of the forest of Laeray and near the Kirunian Mountains Numbers/reproduction: The population is rather small and they can reproduce three times at any time of the year. The amount of seeds spread out are about ten and the chances of each seed growing into a full plant is about 1:5. Predators: Humans and large animals. Food: Insects, small animals, sometimes large animals, rarely humans and anything near by.
Picture/description: The plant is rather huge in itself, but is made up of many parts. One part of it is bush-like and hides the mouth and 'stomach' of the plant. There are small, thin vine-like objects coming out from the bottom of the plant amongst the roots and spread out in all directions from the plant. They can be anywhere from a few meters to a kilometre in length depending on the size of the plant. From those, thin web-like strands spread out and send out a pleasant, yet parlizing, smell. The plant can grow anywhere from a small bush to many large bushes, all connected and hiding the mouth and 'stomach'.
When anything crosses the strands or vines, a signal is sent to the plant and ensnares the prey within moments. Due to the smell sent off by the strands, the prey realizes it's been ensnared but cannot break free. The prey is then brought to the mouth of the plant, which resembles a Venus flytrap, is devoured and the acids within the 'stomach' of the plant breaks down to prey to nutrients, which the roots place within the earth to sustain the plant.
Intelligence and lifestyle: The plant is quite intelligent, for a plant. Its vines are quite sensitive and the web-like strands are even more so. For that reason, the plant can ensnare prey easily and know the size of the prey. It can send out its pleasant smell and stop it whenever it feels like it. Usually the smell is kept on but if it comes across a large animal, it will turn it off.
The plant takes three months to grow to a small size and drains out all the nutrients in the soil. It spends its life waiting for prey, ensnaring them, and devouring them to sustain the lack of nutrients. The plant's base cannot move but it can make the vines do so and that is how it ensnares prey.
Most people cannot find the plant due to the smell and how well it has been hidden. For that reason, it is commonly referred to as Hidden Killers. Most humans come across the plant but never get devoured by it. That is how there have been survivors.

Commonly called: Ropeweed Habitat: Ocean shelves with bright sunlight. Numbers/reproduction: Innumerable. This plant grows fast enough that it becomes virtually impossible to exterminate. It spreads throughout the ocean easily by its water-borne spores. Predators:: Everything that finds it palatable. Food: Sun! Picture/description: Ropeweed is a form of kelp that developed near the center of the Western Islands and has spread out from that point as time has passed. It is very strong both wet and dry, and can be easily parsed into long strands of rope, thus the name "ropeweed". It is usually heralded by its sunny green appearance. Intelligence and lifestyle: None... It is an unintelligent plant that proliferates at a disturbing rate. Of course, the use of rope is spreading as well...

Name: Ferite (fair-(r)ight) Commonly called: Claws, Diggers, Hell of the Mine Family: talpidae Habitat: mines, tunnels, etc... Numbers/reproduction: females reproduce about ten at a time. about five of these will make it past the first week, and two will live to reach adulthood. They reach adulthood after two months, at which time they will leave their first burrow.
The ferite numbers are amazingly large, especially in mountains. there are, in mountain mines, about 100 ferites per (square?) hectare, and about ten ferites per hectare in other mines. Predators: humans, most carnivores(that can find the d*** things). Food: un-mined Ore
Picture/description: Ferites look like unnaturally large moles with claws slightly straighter than those of a mole, and rather sharper teeth.
Intelligence and lifestyle: Ferites are, to be blunt, complete dunces. Ferites will run if you see them, dig holes in your mines, causing collapses, and be the end of a perfect mining situation. They are major annoyances to human lives...
