This thread is for all of us to post our preferences for using each others' NPCs. Post your personal rules for them here.
Please note that this is not to call out anyone's NPC usage, only to post permissions and personal rules for NPCs.
This is also not to be used to ask for permission to use someone else's NPC.

My personal rule for other people using my NPCs is that the person who wishes to use them should PM me for permission. I can then give them permission (or not) and tell them, if they didn't entirely know, how the NPC might act in a situation.

Mine lay along similar lines. I hold my NPCs on very tight leash, though.
