Should I feel like this?
When I was little, my parents used to beat me... I thought no one would ever love me, or I'd love them...
Should I feel like this?
And ever since I came to my uncle and aunt's house, he's always taken care of me, played with me, been there for me... it was like we were brothers...
Should I feel like this?
I love him so much, I want to be more than cousins. But I'm afraid to tell him. What if he doesnt feel the same way? What if I lose him?
Should I feel like this?
But he says he has something to tell me. I'm so anxious to know what it is.

Name: Kani Age: 22 Position: Seme Brief bio: Kani was at a young age when his cousin first came to live with him, but he had welcomed the other with open arms. He didnt want to see the other so sad, and immediately welcomed him into the family, being as close with him as a brother might be. Name: Mina Age: 19 Position: Uke Brief bio: Mina spent the first so many years of his life endearing his parents harsh abuse until the courts granted his aunt and uncle custody of him on a permanent basis. Throughout the years his elder cousin Kani who treated him like a brother and was always so very kind to him always helping him out even doing things for him or giving him things even without his asking. Over time he found himself falling in love with his cousin fighting the turmoil within himself over telling his cousin or not telling him. Then as Kani's life was about to change his own seemed to became much the same forcing him to consider telling him or just watching the changes and endearing the pain in silence. Appearance:

Kani rolled over onto his side as he looked into the kitchen at the glowing green numbers on the microwave, the only other light on in the entire apartment besides the clock in his room; just past midnight the microwave read. He climbed up off the fold up bed that he had pulled out of the couch, his bare feet touching the chilled wood floor. His parents and Mina had come to stay with him for the night at his new apartment, wanting to see the new place and make sure that Kani could actually take care of himself. Although Mina hadnt voice his opinions, Kani had known he was upset that the other was moving out of the house. "Dont worry, Mina," he had told the other, "I'll always have room for you to come over and stay with me whenever you want...".
His mom and dad had taken the spare bedroom while he had practically forced Mina into taking his bedroom, and he took the sleeper sofa. Mina had insisted that he be the one to stay on the couch and Kani should get his room because it was his, but the elder male had insisted that Mina have the room, saying that he'd be more comfortable in there. And so Mina did and so Mina was.
His feet searched the ground for any creeks that might give way to him being up and about during the night, hand gliding lightly against he wall as the blonde quietly pushed open the door to his room, slipping in silently and going over to his bed. Mina was fast asleep there, his brown hair a mess and the covers pulled up around his form. Kani smiled softly at the cute sight. he leaned over the bed, putting a hand over his cousin's lips and putting a finger to his own, showing the other to be silent when he woke up.

Mina really thought that Kani should have his own room but the younger male had lost and was sleeping in the elder males room filled with pain and yearning but he kept it all to himself never voicing it out loud. It had him very worried that he would not see the other even though he ha told him that he would always have room for him to come an stay with him anytime he wanted to. His dreams were full of being with the elder male but his sleep was mostly quiet but he held the blankets tightly up around himself.
He slept soundly not hearing the other come in but he felt his hand go over his mouth about to scream not knowing who had come in but he could smell that familer sweet scent. Opening his eyes he saw Kani standing there with a finger to his own lips which was all it took to keep Mina silent. Removing the others hand from his mouth "Kani what is it are you alright" he asked concern filling his voice as he spoke very lightly

Kani smiled softly, letting his hands drop back to his sides as he looked at his cousin. "Come on, let's get out of here," he whispered softly, taking up the other's hand and gently pulling it, "I have something to tell you and I want to do it privately...". He pulled the other's hand again, then letting go to go over to his closet, grabbing a pair of pants and a shirt. He silently changed there, Mina able to see the entire back and sides of his older cousin. He didnt really think it was much, after all, they had changed in the same room rather often ever since they were kids.
"Mina, you're such a slow poke," he teased the other, ruffling up his already messed up hair, "come on, this is really important.".

Mina smiled softly back at him "Alright I'm coming Kani give me a chance to get up and get dressed" he whisphered grinning at him as he pulled on his hand. Watching as his cousin went to the closet seeing him get undressed he bit his lip to prevent any sound from coming out his eyes going wide as he watched. His thoughts ran wild as did the impulse to get up an go over and touch that shapely body of his cousin. For the longest time he had been watching his elder cousin change trying to discreetly catch a glimpse of him wanting to hold that in his mind as long as possible. Licking his lips he forced himself to turn away before the other could catch him staring.
Looking at him grabbing a comb he combed his hair as best he could before grabbing his pants from beside the bed slipping into them then grabbing his shirt slipping it on. "I'm ready come on Kani what is it" he asked concerned that something was very wrong.

Kani smiled as he put a finger to Mina's lips gently. "Stop asking questions, Mina," he said softly, "I'll tell you when we get to our spot...". He knew that Mina was thinking it was something wrong, but it was far from it. He took the other's hand, leading him quietly out of the room, glancing around the hallway and out into the living room, seeing no one else was up but then. "Dont wake mom and dad," he said, pulling the other along. Even as a child, Kani had made Mina start calling his aunt and uncle mom and dad. "If they can be my mom and dad, they can be yours too," he had told his cousin with the few teethless grin-- he hadnt even reached the age of ten when Mina came to live with him, so he still had his baby teeth. He never wanted Mina to feel like there was some degree of separation between him and his new family, so Kani had tried to do everything that would make him feel a part of the family... they were liike brothers, he would say, not cousins.
He grabbed his keys from the small hook on the wall beside the door, unlocking and opening the apartment door, letting Mina out and then himself, locking the door behind him. "We can take my bike," he said alittle louder now, leading Mina out of the apartment building to the spot where his black motorcycle was parked. He grabbed the two helmets, handing one to his cousin then putting on his own. He was taking Mina to their spot, a small rundown church that the two had come upon within the first week of Mina moving in with his uncle and aunt. "This will be ours!" Kani had said, running inside as he looked at the stain glass windows, sun so eagerly reflecting into it to make a lightshow for the two boys, "So that way no matter what happens to us, we can always meet up here! It'll be our secret, Mina. Our spot.". And it was theirs. Whenever one of the two had something important to say to the other, it was always said here, or whenever one was upset, the other could usually find him in the spot, sitting amongst the still standing pews. It was theirs, their playground, their hideout, their home away from home.

Mina was about to say something else when he heard his cousin say about telling him when they got to their spot. He chewed on his lip some allowing himself to be pulled along. "Don't worry I wont wake mom and dad" he whisphered softly very glad to have Kani always having been close to him at first he was so scared when he came. He could remember being so terrified that if he did something wrong he would be hit just like when he had lived with his parents but Kani had always been there and protected him taken care of him. His heart was racing in his chest it terrified him even now that something was not right. He could not wait to get to their spot so that he could find out what it was that Kani wanted to tell him.
He smiled slightly "Its fun to ride on your bike with you Kani" he said keeping his voice light still. When he was given the helmet he slipped it on moving to climb onto the bike happy that he could wrap his arms around his cousin as they rode to their spot it was always it had him worried sick that the other was upset his mind raced with concern but there was nothing he could do but go with him and wait it out until they got there so that Kani would tell him what it was he wanted to tell him.

The bike roared to life as Kani turned it on, looking back at Mina as he always did to make sure the other was secure and ready to go. He pulled back on the handle bars, taking off out of the parking lot of sorts and moving down the near empty streets. He wanted to get there in a timely fashion so he could finally reveal to the other what he wanted to tell him so badly.
So the drive was in silence, not like the two could talk anyways, as the blonde haired male pulled the bike against the side of the road, turning off the motorcycle and climing off, setting his helmet down on the bike and fixing his long blonde hair. "Come on, let's get inside and I'll tell you," he seemed to grin, running off and into the old doors that were nearly off their hindges, the loud moan of them opening the only other sound that could be heard in the night other than the two males.

He held on tightly but tenderly for the entire drive he looked back into the others eyes before he leaned as close as he could get to Kani not wanting to let go but anxious to get to their spot so that he could find out what it was that the other wanted to tell him. He could feel the wind against his arms as they drove it felt so good but the best part of the entire drive was having his arms around Kani as they drove along.
Following the other he pulled his helmet off setting it on the bike beside Kani's running his fingers through his own dark hair knowing it would still stay un tamed but not caring really he just wanted to follow the other and find out what he wanted to tell him so badly. He heard the door creak taking hold of it he grinned as he heard it creak a little more as he slipped inside "Kani wait up come on what is it" he called out anxious to hear his news.

Kani was standing at the rumble covered altar, the moonlight streaking in one of the many holes in the roof, hitting the blonde male to almost give him an inhuman glow, like a blonde angel of sorts. He smiled at Mina, going over to him, that same grin plastered to his lips. "Alright, I'll tell you," he said, taking a deep breath as he looked at his cousin, "I... am engaged to Minori. We're going to be married soon, and I want you to be my best man.". His face seemed to light up at the words, if it were possible the grin becoming even bigger than it already was.
Minori and Kani had been dating for about 4 years now, the girl practically a part of the family now. His parents and perhaps even Mina had never thought it'd get any more serious than this, but it had. "I didnt tell mom and dad yet," he said, "I didnt tell anyone... you're the first to find out. What do you say? Will you be my best man?". He really wanted Mina to be there, he was practically his brother after all, his best friend, and it wouldnt be the same if he wasnt there.

Mina turned away seeing that smile hearing those words it tore him apart and he did not want to show it to Kani at least not right now. Quickly he strode outside sucking in a deep breath tears streaming down his checks pain seemed to burn inside of him at the very thought yet he vowed to collect himself and go back in and show his cousin his support. He rubbed his eyes wiping his face the best he could hoping that it did not show that he had been crying. Staying outside or a little longer he gathered himself. Running a hand through his short hair he found he was as collected as he could get himself under the circumstances.
Going back inside he went to the other hugging him "Oh course I would be honored to be your best man Kani" he said with a smile and false happiness for the other praying that it did not show for he wanted Kani to be happy even if it meant that he was not happy. "I'm very happy for you Kani congratulations" he said lightly with a very excited voice even though he was not but he was glad to be hugging his cousin because it hid the tear that slid down his face which he wiped away quickly with his arm looking at the other with a smile. "How long have you known Kani " he asked his heart racing he wanted to know everything as hard as it was he wanted to be with Kani but if he choose to be with Minori then what really could he do but be happy for him even if it broke his heart.

Kani had been rather confused when Mina had turned away and gone back outside. Did he not approve? He had always thought he and Minori had liked one another, the girl seeing the younger male as practically her own younger brother. So why had Mina left? Kani had taken a few steps to go out to the door, but Mina soon came back in. "Mina, what's wro--" he began to ask softly, but he was soon engulfed in a hug.
He put his arms around Mina, hugging him back as the other accepted the offer. "Thanks, Mina," he said, "This means a lot to me...". Still, he felt that something was off with Mina about this whole thing, yet he wasnt sure what. Yes, the brown haired boy seemed sincere in his words and kindess, but for as long as Kani knew Mina, he could always tell when something was wrong with the other. "We just got engaged yesterday," he answered his cousin, "I didnt tell mom and dad because I wanted you to be the first to know...". He paused for a moment, moving his head to as the two were looking directly at one another, "Mina, are you sure you're okay with this?" he asked, "I want to know how you really feel. I promise that me getting married isnt going to change anything between us; you'll always be my brother and my best friend, okay?".
