So simple even Geico could make a lame ad campaign about it. As such I don't think I need to explain it more than this: Post a list containing 5 to 10 of your favorite albums from this year as well as your biggest surprises and disappointments and a list of artists/bands who you're still waiting for stuff from.

Biggest Surprises:
- MCU at the top of the list? Pretty good for someone I only learned about thanks to the first Death Note Tribute album.
- Power Metal = ACCESS DENIED
- Who the ******** are Mael Mórdha? Who cares? EPIC CELTIC DOOM METAL REIGNS!
- Rush can take a 5 year break and put out a good album, unlike a certain other band...

Biggest Disappointments:
- Symphony X can take a 5 year break and put out the same album they put out 5 years ago except it isn't even as good.
- Slough Feg didn't even make the list. Why is it I like HoM more again? Oh right, John Cobbett.
- The only American metal album on that list is dead last and could easily be knocked out on a whim.
- Didn't King Diamond put out an album this year?
