I've been looking back at old posts made by me in the older topics and realized that I had a tendency to abandon people right in the middle of an rp, if it was a few times I wouldn't have felt bad, but it seems that almost every rp I had before I've abandoned, so I would like to apologize to those that have spent quite a bit of time waiting for me to respond to them only to have to start again with someone else. Alright, now that that's off of my chest, I have a question, what kind of character are we lacking right now? I'd like to spice the guild up a bit, make it active like it used to be.

I wouldn't apologize.

As the saying goes, "s**t happens." There's always those things that pull us away, regardless of what may be going on in our 'other' lives. Can't say for sure who we need, but I feel that right now the most active members of the guild are RPing farily hard at the moment, so we should carry on.

Plus, it'd be tough to spice it up by yourself. Now if there were two or three others with you..

No, not really. It is very slightly dissapointing, but in no ways truly wrong. Perhaps you should say something before dissapearing, but sometimes you just don't want to do it, and that's why it's okay.

Though Roan left, she sure didn't for good, with her putting up real estate here. So, with her coming around near the time Morrigan got back, there's eyes once again on...well, both really, but Roan more, since she could *sigh* destroy us all without breaking a sweat..

..*sigh* Herein lies the problem, well, two of them. First, we need a way to attract people, flat out. Advertising is good, and using a profile in conjuction is even better. However, in order to get those people to even take a 'hard' look, the presentation needs to look better than they expected, great and solid reasons to want to join, and actually ******** post.

Secondly: This one has to do with the 'stable' chromosome formation, women. Not that we need women characters, but actual females.

..Sorry, I lied, there's three problems. I really mean no offense Aonice, I truly don't, but the name of our guild, in my humblest opinion, is a humongous turn off.

'Busty'...oh sorry, 'Buxom Purunrun Island Paradise'. Name itself.

Not to mention, the first two 'rules' of our guild:
1. The Busty Gaian Gals are numerous(No exclamation point.)
That's right, the busty gaian gals populate this place and the Mods rule over ALL. Ya need to do what we say here! Dare you, triple dog dare you to find five actual women who've posted here regularly in the last year.

2. Here big boobs Happen!
The island does have strange going on's that can easily add on a few cups to even the flattest character.

Really, I'm just telling the truth here, I think these are glaring reasons as to why we have really no other members: Noone wants to come here. Why? Likely because a lot think we're perverts. Gatz IC is one thing, but us?

In closing, I'd like to suggest that we take action, show that we've always been a fun, exciting bunch to hang around, not a bunch of snorkling teenagers that only like to ogle and grope.

I agree with Dante. No seriously, I'm not being sarcastic or anything.

Hmm, it feels like that would get us a bunch of giggly fangirls expecting yaoi.

But Quint does raise some good points. Perhaps we could simply remain the place "Purunrun Island Paradise"... I suspect that most people don't know what the term refers to, and those who *do* know are more likely to be drawn in by the name than turned away by it.

As for the homepage, it should definately be redone so that it's more "friendly" to other Gaians. Especially the part about expanding boobs... goodness knows there are a few prudes out there who actually baulk at the idea of large chested girls and harmless but kinky fun ( rolleyes ). You might want to consider moving the "cup-size chart" into the profile as well. That way it's a wee less obvious that we emphasize having girls with big boobs here. Perhaps would could promote the Island as more of a "mixer" type guild--Gaia's equivalent of a singles bar. If we make it one of those places were girls and guys can get together for some friendly RPing, we can appeal to both male and female demographics at the same time.

To add another suggestion, has anyone tried PMing some of our inactive female members, and proding them back into activity? I haven't checked recently, but there's still bound to be a few around... I wouldn't expect much response, even getting one more female RPer makes it seem worth a try.

It might also be worth looking into other guilds with similar, er, tastes in beauty heart to ours and recruiting members from there. I'll try to check with certain people in my ECI guild when I find the time.
