My personal fave in Micheal Bell from the original TF cartoon. He did the voices of Prowl, First Aid, Swoop, Scrapper, Sideswipe, Bombshell, and Brainstorm. He also does the voice of one of my favorite video game characters, Raziel, from Legacy of Kain! How about you guys? What are some of your faves?

Well, obviously the original G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron because they're so unique voices and done in a cool way. Well, also Soundwave and Starscream... Geeze, ok, well, the G1 had a lot of awesome voices, too many, so I'll go with Beast Wars... Um, I loved both Dinobot's voice and Inferno's.

Peter Cullen--Optimus Prime and Ironhide
Frank Welker--Megatron, Soundwave, Skywarp, Rumble, Frenzy, Galvatron (post-movie), Wheelie (yes, Wheelie xD), Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, Mixmaster, Trailbreaker, Mirage (surprise, surprise, and Mirage has such a classy voice), Sludge, Blades, Groove, and Chrome
Chris Latta--Starscream
and last, but not least, Scatman Crothers--JAZZ!!
geez, it's no wonder I like Frank so much. Just LOOK at his *range*! He's been so prolific, he is really very awesome =D

Frank did all that? I knew he did Megs, Galvy, Soundwave, and Wheelie....man, he actually does a pretty good bird squawk too........

Welker just literally shocked me! I so hope that he's in the new movie because if he is he basically is Soundwave from outside to inside.

eh, hard to pick a single favorite, but I'll just go with Dan Gilvezan who did Bumblebee's and he was also Spider-man on Spiederman and his Amazing Friends.

there are just so many great voices that have been involved with Transformers, I was suprised when I realized one big voice actor who wasn't a Transformer,
Cam Clarke. Just look at the list and see how many voices this guy did that you grew up with and look at how expansive a list of VA's TF has .

Not to mention a ferrocious roar; he was the voice of Godzilla in the Hollywood movie of the same name (amongst projects too numerous to mention). Yes, he is indeed known as the Vocal God! So naturally, he would be my choice. The great Peter Cullen would be next, followed by the late Scatman Crothers. They would be my personal picks. 3nodding

Hi guys,
Welker is definitely one of my favorite voice actors of all time, especially since he was the first voice actor I learned to recognize by ear alone. I learned to recognize many voice actors by watching Transformers back in the '80s actually. The second voice actor I learned to recognize was Don Messick of Scooby-Doo fame, who also provided the voices of Gears, Ratchet, and Scavenger. I love almost everyone else on the G1 show equally 4laugh !
As for the new Vancouver bunch, Scott McNeil is the best and my favorite of the bunch.

McNeil is always good in whatever he's in, hell, even Energon and Cybertron. He did a pretty good Wolverine in X-Men Evolution too (although, he can't top Cathal J. Dodd as Wolverine)
