Some links for those who are interested in checking things out: My storefront - shows all of the titles available, with synopses and pricing info. Shalon - The page that offers specific details about Shalon. Police Records - The second book I had published. You can check it out here! Never Easy and Other Stories - This is the first anthology I made available. It contains eleven stories that fit into the "general fiction" category. The Sacrifice and Other Stories - This anthology features 8 stories, each of which has some element of science fiction, fantasy, and/or the supernatural. I hope you will take the time to check them out! mrgreen I am working on some more projects, but no estimations can be made about their completion....

Obi, that essay thing reminds of the tests we had to take... They called them "Proficiency Tests" and students had to pass them in order to graduate. They had two sets. There were the 9th grade proficiency tests and the 12th grade proficiency tests. People who did not pass BOTH sets of tests were not able to graduate, no matter how many credits they had earned. Only about 60% of students were passing, so the State determined that the TEACHERS would have to take the tests. The school boards were ashamed when the results came out... Only about 25% of the teachers could pass the tests, and they were the ones responsible for preparing the students to take the tests.

How embarrassing! redface My state makes teachers take a basic skills test now to prevent this sort of thing. I passed it of course--first try.

It is good that teachers have to take tests, too. How are they supposed to prepare students for these things when they lack the knowledge that is required to pass them?
