Mythee's critter pound
~
Welcome to Mythee's critter pound! n-n heart Here, beasts who have no home can be adopted into your respective gardens, or countries, or part of your countries~ they're free, since I'm just spurting out some of my limitless inspiration for everyone to take advantage of here. But you can donate if you want, just don't exaggerate or I'll feel guilty. xDD Of course, I never feel guilty about spoiling other people, mwe he he~ twisted If you want to make the wildlife of your Exile's country more fun, diverse or special, then please, do not hesitate to use whatever's available, as long as you follow the rules and procedure below~
1. Follow the Gaia TOS, which everyone knows anyways. Doesn't hurt to mention it though. xD
2. Do NOT use the images and concepts without my confirmation of your request!
3. NEVER take credit for either the pictures or the concepts.
4. However, if you have my permission, you may modify the requested critter's concept for your own country, following the instructions.
5. Be nice to everyone, and enjoy! 3nodding heart

Procedure
Requesting
If you see a creature you would like to have in your country and it still has slots available, fill the request form and wait for my approval.
Modifying
If you see a creature you would like to have in your country but there are things about it you want to change, check if there are "Modified" slots available. If there are, fill the request form, including the modification field, and wait for my approval.
Submitting creatures of your own
If you have creations of your own that you would like to share with others, I'd be thrilled to add them to the list of critters here for you! x3 Just fill the submittey form. 3nodding heart
Requesting additional creatures and asking for specific things
If you see nothing you like, or every slot is taken, and still want something- just say so in the thread. You can ask for a feline if you absolutely want one, or something dragonlike, or just for anything as long as there is something for you to take. Either way, if nobody else does (because everyone can help their fellow Exile Guild member in need xDD) I will do something for you. Just keep in mind that if you ask for something extremely customised, it's preferrable you just make the whole creature description yourself in the creature creation thread Stann made- after all, you already know exactly what creature you want o-O;;
Of course, if you request an additional critter, you are obligated to use that critter afterwards, or whoever came up with the idea for it will have done so for nothing. And please understand that since it will not be your creation, it will be treated like any other pound critter- other people can use it if slots are open. :3

Ze critters~

Name: Giant Burrowing Shrimp
By: Mythee
Family: Agercrustacea? o.o *random naming for something that is probably already named* xD It means "Land Crustaceans".
Preferred Habitat: Deserts and dry lands with loose soil. They are never found in moist places.
Reproduction/population: Their mating season is up to you, but you should know that they gather in large numbers, mate, and then the females go off and lay about 100 eggs each. Only half the babies will make it to adulthood, but almost fifty children per female every mating season? ...That's a lot xD They are as common as mice or rabbits in some cases.
Predators:: Humans, certainly. Yeah, they taste delicious. Make sure to boil them well though, or your humans will end up poisoned (that's why only animals with an incredible metabolism of doom can eat these. Think of vultures. They have an incredible metabolism of doom.)
Food: Giant Burrowing Shrimp are scavengers, and will eat(and fight for) pretty much anything they can find. "Anything they can find" is often long-dead rotting corpses of animals, so they are toxic and must be handled (and eaten) with caution.
Picture(s)/description:
As you can see from the size comparison, they're pretty big... Their colors blend with the habitat, often beige or brown. Their patterns are up to you. Ignore the symbol on the head- it really shouldn't be there xDD *originally created these for another purpose*
Intelligence and lifestyle: They're low-intelligence, but pretty cute if you think of it, curious as they are. They're a bit like mice in their group mentality, but are slightly more intelligent when alone. They live in small colonies, and when frightened, will bury under the sand or loose soil- hence their name. They live only on (or underneath) land and cannot breathe underwater. Those fangs of theirs are pretty nasty though. They cannot be tamed.

Reproduction/population: Same as the Giant breed
Predators:: They taste good, so humans eat them- and so can all sorts of other animals as long as they are capable of breaking the Burrowing Shrimp's hard shell.
Food: Burrowing Shrimp will eat just about anything, but usually survive on small scraps of roots and fungus, and occasionally insects.
Picture(s)/description: Same as the Giant breed, except that they are the size of a large tarantula. Standing in your hand, they will fill your palm. 3nodding
Intelligence and lifestyle: The same as the giant breed, except their fangs are less nasty, and they can be kept as pets. Small stupid pets that, if raised from the egg, will be attached to you like a baby chick to its parent and stay on your shoulder or head or whatever when you allow it to. Unfortunately, they are not as intelligent as a baby chick. They are more like a retarded baby chick who tries to chew on everything. With effort and time you can teach them only the simplest of tricks.
