I write a lot of fanfiction, and very little original literature. I have an account on Fanfiction.net, where I put most of my work. My username there is Tjix, the same as here.

xP I am your antithesis.
I wrote at most 1/2 of a fanfiction. I concentrate on original literature.

Good for you! I have trouble with originality. That's why I write fanfiction.

You say that, but even when writing something based off of something else, you still need originality. I mean, you've gotta come up with story, you might need new characters, you wanna write something no one else has. See?

And fanfiction is often the most fun. It takes a lot of the hard work out of making a backstory and such, because people will already know, but you get to do cool things too. I think I'm gonna write a fic. I'm in the mood for a bit of light writing. xP

Well, you're right. But it takes a lot more originality to write non-fanfiction.

And good luck! wink

~Yes, I do wirite fanfiction
~Yes, I do have an account on FF (Casey Commings)
~Yes, on mugglenet.com fanfiction section and in more HP related ff sites
~I think that fanfiction quality is entirely dependant on the writing abililty of the creator. If he or she can write and make in amazing and engaging, then it's good. If he or she lack proper skills, don't use proper spelling or punctuation it is quite annoying. Granted we are all human and mess a couple things up,
for example I am a horrid speller, at least try and check it over.
~I don't know, I haven't read it yet mrgreen

I also do write original fiction, part FF and total fanfiction. I love Harry Potter fanfiction in the Lily/James era. I find it a whole lot more free to write about.

Sounds like fun. I'd like to read about young Sirius and Remus. They're my favorites.
